They really did do a good job on the portrait. I feel like it’s also a testament to their growth since the last release. The paint application is so much better without being too different from the others. Absolutely beautiful!
At first I didn't like the portrait that much but it has really grown on me.

Near perfect figure,a must buy for the fans.
Beautiful figure, i also went for the STAP version, which does look very, very nice out on display.My only real gripe is the portrait which although is great i would of just preferred a slightly different sculpt as I feel already owning the light and dark side Anakin figures that i am far too use to the portrait but if you are a new collector or just do not own an Anakin figure then this is a figure to grab quickly before it seems out. As always my friend, thank you for such an in depth, concise review.

@@BostonCollectorsI know the different hair piece does give the head sculpt a new look but i just feel maybe they could of changed the expression a bit, just give us something a little different although i must say i think the reuse of this sculpt works well which can not be said about the reuse head sculpt on the CW Maul.

"Sound is not included." This is the new and improved Stealth STAP. We would have seen it in season 8, but alas Order 66 was issued and the rest is history.
The Jedi robe was not included because he never wore it with this general's uniform.
I had a hard time getting him on the STAP - he's never coming off! Fortunately, I have a second one (without the STAP) on the way. I wish the cape was wired, so we could pose it billowing behind him on the STAP. I'm not sure another figure would work on the STAP, since it requires those rather strong magnets in the feet.
Another fantastic video, Jonathan. I think you are one of the better figure reviewers. Your clear and to the point (and you don't spend too much time on the damn box 😂).
I can dig it, lol! Still though, RIP his balls since they’re at the exhaust. A shocker he was able to create more Skywalkletts.
He did wear a robe in the movie and the 2D shorts, but I’m not really tripping about it. It feels petty to bring up, but I’m thinking about new collectors and not those of us who can grab it out of the assortment of accessories we all collect, lol! It’s only so much they can give without giving EVERYthing, so I didn’t think it was fair to deduct points because of it.
With all the accessories, I think having 2 is perfect! Are you splitting them up into separate cabinets? I agree and I thought it would be because of their promotional material showing it. A reason why I wish they would stop using photoshop to that extent. I might be getting picky again, lol!

I don't have any cabinets; I have a wire shelf stand, and every available flat surface. I've a long, low dresser I am thinking about clearing off to display my prequel/clone war figures.
His balls: I'm guessing everyone in the galaxy wears asbestos clothing. That would also eplain why Mandlorians' capes never catch fire from their jet packs. 🤨

How did you remove the left arm to replace it with the LED?
You’ll have to pull the arm of the socket on the right arm and slot this in. While it is possible to do, it’s a hassle to execute.
A better example of how to do it can be seen in our latest review of The Mandalorian: Luke Skywalker.
Another great video! I have this on a Payment Plan till August so I’m excited. The only thing that bothers me a bit is that gauntlet, I’ve seen many people have problems with it but it’s probably fixable.
Oh and the alternative armor & cape is supposed to represent Anakin from the 2003 Clone Wars cartoon by Genndy Tartakovsky.
The Vintage 2D version right? I watched it back and couldn’t find it. 😰
Also, you’ll love it! Like I mentioned, there a few picky gripes with it, but the only issue I really have is with the gauntlet. Other than that it’s a really awesome figure! Can’t wait until you’re able to have yours in.

@@BostonCollectors yes the Vintage 2D version! The only time you see him with it is in Chapter 22 of the series. I think for most of the episode he has it on 👍🏼
I think everyone has a problem with that gauntlet. Once I got him posed on the STAP, I didn't notice it. It,s an awesome figure, nonetheless.

How do you pull out the Vehicle Handlebars without breaking them?
You'd have to shimmy it out at the base of the insert point. It's annoying, but the best way to go about it I found.

If I recall, I'd say you're in the 22" - 25" inch ballpark. He's VERY tall depending on how you pose him. If you can make his profile a little shorter as if he's leaning down to strike someone/something, then he'd be a bit shorter for sure.

I kept debating on getting this. He looks so freaking cool! But my wallet is running low. I've probably pre-ordered and canceled him like 5 times already. To me nothing will be the Revenge of the Sith Anakin I love the costume and it's my all-time favorite movie. But I did put this Anakin on flex pay. On his page on Sideshow it said something like low stock. So I've put some stuff up on eBay and I'm debating to add a couple of my Hot Toys figures. I have 4 different Darth Maul's, he's my favorite character. But I'm asking myself do I really need to keep the Sideshow Naboo Darth Maul and the Crimson Dawn Darth Maul, I hate Disney I only justified buying him because he's Lucas's creation and Ray Park played him. I'll never get of my Hot Toys The Phantom Menace Darth Maul or Clone Wars I think Hot Toys cheaped out a bit though the heads to the Clone Wars Maul and Crimson Dawn are exactly the same. I know the face sculpts on Revenge of the Sith Anakin and Clone Wars Anakin are the same but at least they gave him a new hair sculpt. I'm debating on just paying him off now so I'll have him before my vacation and hope I make some sales on eBay to cover the cost. I still need to payoff the Attack of the Clones Clone pilot, I already paid off the Phase 1 Clone, my favorite Trooper from the entire Saga episodes 1-6, and the Battle Driod. But I have time to save for him. I also have Bespin Luke on flex pay which doesn't kick in until next February. 5 payments the 1st 4 are only $51 a month and the last payment is $81. That's not to bad. But what to do about this Anakin. I definitely want to get him before he sells out. I'm sure he'll go for twice as much on the secondary Market.

how did u change the right arm
I held the bicep and lifted the sleeve up enough to grab the forearm. Also, take the portrait and the belt off as a precaution. Once you have it where there’s no clothing to pull, you’ll have to use a little bit of muscle to pull the arm out.
After that it’s just going in reverse to put the arm in. It’s very tedious, but possible.
kinda doesnt work for me or i aint strong enough to pull it out im scared
i have the same model but i wanted tochange it into the led but i guess mine’s harder to pull it out
