- Gangotri Dham Yatra & visiting Gangotri Temple is a divine experience. Gangotri is located in the Garhwal Himalayas and & its among Char Dham of Uttarakhand. Gangotri is source of river Bhagirathi which is a main headstreams of the Ganga. Gangotri Temple is dedicated to Goddess Ganga. Devotees from all over India come here to worship Maa Ganga & take a holy dip in Bhagirathi. Gangotri Dham remains open during summer & monsoon but closed during winter season.
Gangotri is surrounded by stunning forests, & you can see snow-capped peaks & glaciers in distance. It is a popular destination for trekkers and nature enthusiasts who come to explore the Himalayan region. Gangotri is one of the four sacred Char Dham pilgrimage, with the other three being Yamunotri, Kedarnath & Badrinath. Gangotri Temple is constructed in the traditional Himalayan architectural style and its made of white granite.

कंचन जी हर बार की तरह इस बार भी इस गंगोत्री की बहुत ही मनमोहक गंगोत्री की प्रस्तुति ने मेरे दिल को मन मोह मोह कर मेरे पास शब्द नहीं है कि मैं अपनी कल्पना को किस तरह आपके सामने इजहार जब आप इस प्रस्तुति में गंगोत्री के दर्शन कर रहे थे लग रहा था कि मैं आपके साथ ही गंगोत्री के दर्शन कर रहा सच में कुदरत ने जैसे सारी सुंदरता गंगोत्री मैं ही लगा दी हो ।

It also reminded me of my last trip in 2014 when it had a deserted look after the deluge. I had the rare opportunity to watch the diety idol for a long time without being disturbed by many fellow pilgrims.
