My grandmother is 92 and still wears make up and its this French style! No foundation because her skin is perfect just sunscreen, eyeliner and curled lashes, black mascara and red lip always. Cheers! So gorgeous! Thank you!
💯on the Revlon eyeshadow pots; my go-to is Urbanite and yes, it’s just like the MAC product if not better; also 💯 on the Maybelline slim eyebrow pencil; my go-to is Soft Brown. Best drugstore mascara is Revlon which is most like the coveted Dior Black Out, THE best on the market. Best drugstore red is More Rust by Maybelline; it’s literally PERFECT. Lastly, daytime French beauty means NO blush. Thx for this tutorial; French women do beauty best! ❤️

I remember in the early 70's the popular look was the "no-makeup" look. Of course it was a lot of makeup, but because neutral tones were used, it made it look more natural. I think your look is a cross between that look and the glam look, which is what a red lip produces and why it is generally associated with French women. Red lips also make our teeth look whiter. Just lovely...thanks so much.

FRENCH MAKE-UP, Wow! This my second video on the subject, and I love it! This is what I have been looking for and didn't know it. I don't really wear makeup, but when I do, it's very basic because I really don't know how to put it on and I'm 51 years old!! There are too many videos out there that are over whelming for someone like me, but you really simplified it. And it's beautiful! I'm going to be busy watching your videos. Thank you!!

Love it! The morphe setting spray is my favorite, I’ll even grab it over the CT setting spray. And you are the one who turned me on to the maybelline bb cream, with a little setting powder it’s such an easy no fuss skin tint.
Less is so much more as we age. I’ll be 52 next month and I’m finding I’m doing less and less to my face and actually getting more and more compliments 😉 thank you for doing a drugstore video.

I like how honest you were in this video about how many makeup products some women may use. Sometimes I get carried away but when I go back to basics is when I get the most compliments. I’m 36 and sometimes I feel as though my husband appreciates a quick look over a look with too many products. I think he appreciates the wait time too 😉

I’ve always loved the natural look over anything else since I started wearing makeup! What I like about your French makeup videos is that you show different products and different twists on the theme. The bonus is that your looks flatter mature skin, but would really flatter any age! My daytime red lip is Burt’s Bees in Red Dahlia. Love it. I also am obsessed with my demi products. Thank you for being so amazing! How about a berry toned French look? I heard somewhere that is another popular lip and cheek choice.

I have been looking at make up tutorials for the last few years because I have always felt that I could never figure out the whole makeup thing. I would follow the tutorials but my makeup just never looked natural nor did it look good. I watched your video late last night and then this morning I attempted it. I've been using that bb cream for maybe 7-8 years. I don't hear people talk about it much but it's so simple and effective for minimal coverage. I often get compliments on glowy skin with it. I wish their shade range was better though.
