    Hello. Thank you very much. I had the same problem. I almost lost hope. Mine would start sometimes after priming, bleeding diesel and when the engine is cold and would run the whole day. The vehicle start for days and never started some days. Every time it got to a mechanic I would be called to collect the car for it would start after bleeding or priming. I replaced almost everything as you did I only delayed changing injectors for I didn't want to spend more money on a project that was not promising anything good. In the process the rockers broke after changing diesel fuel pump and the diesel fuel pump valve. I was told to check electrical faults I prayed asking God to help me locate the problem for I no longer had hope in taking the car to mechanics just to spend money. After praying I went to google check for solutions on issues like I had. I did as you advised took of the pipe and asked my wife the start the car and diesel got out of relief valve pipe then told my wife to stop cranking. I sourced out for another common rail and the problem was solved.
    Thank you very much man.

    Hi team. I had this exact issue. i replaced the fuel pressure relief value with the original bosch part, that fixed it. Then a month later I had two leaking injectors and replaced all four with brand new ones. then the car was driving perfect. fast forward one month. I have a no start problem again. this time two brand new injectors are have fail. The injectors were removed and sent to bosch for testing. I will keep u guys posted on the next step. Great video boys.

    I had the same issue, spent 3k replacing everything that I was told to replace, by several mechanics, turns out it was the starter motor failing, sending dodgy signals to the crank angle sensor , causing the fault. The ECU logged a crank angle sensor fault. Replaced the starter, no issues since, start first turn of the key.

    hi , it is a fortunate finding your content. I've the same problem now, before buying a new fuel rail, what was the fuel rail pressure kpa when cranked? mine shows zero kpa when cranked. I've not yet inspected the fuel rail. the car is "crank no start" for about 3 months. I've to tow it to dealer. I've replaced intank fuel pump, scv, filter, 3 batteries...it makes me insane.

    • @WildSideAdventures
      @WildSideAdventures  Před rokem

      Hi. If your rail has no pressure, then it won't be able to. Pump fuel to the injectors. So pull off that little rubber hose, and you should see plenty fuel being squirted out because that's the release back to the tank.
      If your pump is not pushing fuel to the rail the code will be Major Fuel Leak that's when you know it's your pump.

    • @globalrail3046

      @@WildSideAdventures thanks for the info. my code is p0087, sometimes I can start my car, but then die after several minutes and I saw code P0087. it will die too if I step on gas to more than 2000rpm. after that I can not start my car for days or weeks. Tomorrow I will check the rail return line as per your video. so if I see much diesel fuel come out of the rail return pipe when cranked then : is it because of bad rail return valve? or bad electric fuel rail regulator at the end of rail? my car is jeep CRD diesel. But I think the same system.

    • @WildSideAdventures
      @WildSideAdventures  Před rokem

      @GLOBAL RAIL so on the Mazda bt50 it's a spring valve inside the scew plug at the end of the rail. It wears out over time and fails. Then my second issue I had after that was the pump which battled to pump and pressurize the fuel in the rail. That's a whole other story of theft and carnage from a different mechanic.
      But first check the relief valve on the rail if it's squirting fuel because the pressure from the pump is there. Hopefully that's your problem because that will be cheaper to replace.

    PROBLEM SOLVED WHY
    Ford dealers cannot diagnose during cranking
    Problem can either
    1/ main internal ECU relay not energising
    2/ low fuel pressure in fuel rail during crank
    ***often both will reset and fire up engine when ignition is switched off then on again
    FORD COULD DIAGNOSE THIS ISSUE IF THEY USED THE FORD SPECIAL STAND ALONE,INDEPENDANT FUEL PRESSURE GAUGE *** NO DIAGNOSIS CONNECTION REQUIRED
    Nb the Nissan of similar years had same fuel rail and same hard start problems also

    • @WildSideAdventures
      @WildSideAdventures  Před 2 lety +1

      Why is it strange? The rail was second hand and i paid R2000 South African Rand "$130USD" from City Deep Auto located in Johannesburg, South Africa.

      @@WildSideAdventures because usually with helping videos like this one, you hear them telling you the price tag for the part or the repair cost range as a tip for those who concern the costs. Thank you for all the information.

    question: duirng cranking I saw there was no fuel from that rail return pipe, but when idling i saw much fuel came out and then the car died due to low pressure. so is it correct if much fuel comes out during idling?

    • @WildSideAdventures
      @WildSideAdventures  Před rokem

      The spring in safety value warmed up and lost its strength to maintain the pressure inside the rail.

      So during idling there should not any fuel come out?
