Only 4 of our machines in my shop have mist collection. Works good. Now if I can get management to understand that the smell from 10-15 yr old coolant is bad for us, maybe I'll see retirement 😑🤬

The cnc lathe I run is an engine lathe that is not fully enclosed. Our ceilings are covered in grinding dust and pollen thanks to this type of mist. Although my favorite is when running TIitanium and you can taste and smell the titanium.
My jobs mist collectors are shit. In the winter time you can see all the mist collect at the top of the shop with the bay doors closed. Its a really nasty shop.

I retired after 33 yrs. Since I got out of the shop environment, all my breathing issues have cleared up. I no longer need inhalers or nebulizers.
