Finally, this video has found its target market, lol. I’m glad you liked it, it seemed like a really fun idea that would be a hum-dinger with the algorithm but sadly despite it being one of my favorite videos from the last year it’s not done terribly well. I did finish two of them and uploaded them before realizing that the vent diagram between guitar pedals enthusiasts and Pokémon fans were basically two circles, I had a third one in the making I abandoned, but part of me still wants to finish it.
@@BGBSATX oh yeah, and a technical question abt the pedal, can the octave or fifth be blended out on any setting? i love the exotic setting but i think i'd like it more if it wasn't pitched up like that
Hey thanks for watching! This video may be my favorite from the past year, it really broke my heart when it didn’t do well with the algorithm, I’ve been really happy to see it’s still getting a couple views a day, still not a super well performing video for me but I really enjoyed making it.
You should check out the Bygones from 3degrees audio, apparently similar sound to the Fairfield’s Shallow Water, but from what I understand it makes this pedal look reasonable.
This pedal reminds me of that time I was at Dairy Queen and ordered a bannanna split, but asked them to make it without the bannanna because that's totally gross and then they just looked at me like I was weird so I just said I wanted to substitute jalapenos instead and they refused to make it.
This sounds cool as hell. You coaxed some really great sounds out of it!
