Only seen the intro, but I can tell I'm already grateful for this video. I used to love FIFA but it's been run into the ground by greed. Trying to make as much money off the community as possible and I personally think that the youtube community contributes to that by consistently promoting playing the game by pumping thousands of pounds into it as it normalises the huge spend to people and more importantly children. I don't blame the CZcamsrs, they're just doing their jobs so it's nothing against them, it's entirely down to the game EA have created but it is still nice to see someone think about this side of it and speak openly on it. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the vid Spen. 👌🏼👏🏼

It's WORSE than gambling, at least when you're gambling IF you win, you have something to show for it.
With FIFA points that value entirely disappears when the game comes to an end. On top of that, it's offered to under 18's like it's nothing when it's gambling in every sense of the word. AND the amount you put in doesn't come close to being repaid even in immediate value. I'd estimate over the 10 years I was an avid FIFA player I probably put £500-1000 into it and my highest value pulls ever were about 150k, with the second-highest 70k. It's actually disgusting.

Buying fifa points isn't possible in belgium anymore because of this reason. because it's gambling for underage kids.
When I was about 14 I got so addicted to opening packs, spending any money I had on packs, reckon I easily spent somewhere between 200-500 quid on packs. Without sounding ridiculous I genuinely think it was a spin off of a gambling addiction, now I’m older I don’t even think about spending money on packs. It’s a dangerous game.

I went searching for a Fifa series that was similar to the Wheel of MUT series on MMG’s channel and this is legitimately the first video of yours that I’ve watched. It’s quite unfortunate that Wheel of Futune is a series I’ll never get to enjoy but I respect your decision on the matter and wish you nothing but the best as you evolve your channel and congratulate you on your journey into parenthood, it’s truly the greatest journey a man can take. Been a follower for such a long time and because we've got similar ages (I'm 30) I feel like we've had similar ideas throughout our evolution. I am very keen to comment here and this is before I've watched this video but I just want to say off the bat that these podcast videos are so refreshing and relaxing and I like how open minded everything is. Especially to just relate to something I've grown up with as well it brings me a sense of nostalgia that I massively enjoyed during my early teens back when I first started secondary school. I would come home most days or wake up early and watch your content and it thoroughly made my day if I'm honest.
I'm 17 now and I've known you since I was 10. I watched you during FIFA 14 and FIFA 15 when you hit 1 Million subs and back then FIFA was just at it's ultimate prime, especially with ultimate team. I haven't touched FIFA since FIFA 17 but it's basically the same game year after year after year and instead of doing yearly updates they launch a whole new game where mechanically, nothing has changed and it's like paying a subscription fee just to play the damn game.
I've noticed this correlates to your channel as well considering you haven't hit 2 Million Subs yet (not to be rude but just that the growth of your channel has dwindled) but I just had so much more enjoyment of your FIFA videos back when I enjoyed it and you enjoyed playing and making them as well. But I'm glad you've expanded into Hashtag and I thoroughly enjoy the other content you put out there as well as how you've grown up as a person as well.
I haven't changed yet mate and I don't intend to for a long time :)

Ever sense fifa 15 wheel of fortune I have been watching you and your the reason I bought fifa 15 and am still playing fifa 21 to this day. I can not express how much you and your channels mean to me. I used to get in trouble for how loud I would play your vids and my mom and dad would get annoyed of your accent. I even had Parfitt Williams and Zarate in my squad as my lucky charms. I still remember when you packed inform Ronaldo and I watched the video and was absolutely livid. Your vids were my childhood. I live in the USA and i tried getting my parents to fly me out for the Wembley cup. I know I'm going on but I just wanted to let you know that those FIFA vids really meant a lot for so many people and it is sad to see the end of an era. I, as an individual, really enjoy your club to club series, because I very much so enjoy quizzes and testing my knowledge. It’s a brilliant game, which us a viewer can easily play along with at home and I love it! I wouldn’t say the episode size is a problem, because 95% of the videos I engross are 15 minutes or under, and longer youtube series’ like club to club, are things that I really enjoy to occupy myself when I’m doing something else...
Keep up the good work, whatever it may be, I will be watching. Respect.
I love videos like this, they help me take stock on what’s important to do with gaming etc, Fifa is something I do as a hobby, and it’s always good to have a check on that to think if it’s still fun as it can get pretty negative pretty quickly

Been watching you since FIFA 15, I was 11 (you can probably tell by my channel name). I came across your channel and loved it immediately. I watched all your WOF series’, London United, even went back and watched Once a Lion.
I’m 17 now and I still watch most of your content, follow you on social media and I think what you’re doing is amazing. What you said about growing up watching the channel is definitely true, I feel like it’s been this generation’s CBBC. I love how honest and genuine these formatted videos are, and great to hear someone talk such sense about FIFA - no doubt that the game has gone downhill and needs to stop being so expensive. For me, it was ruined from the moment they introduced price ranges. Lost its collaborative and 'fun' aspect - all purely for their money-making operations.

I'll admit, it's been a few years since I have watched your content regularly, but the time that I did still really sticks out to me to the point where I recognized Danny Blum on Eintracht Frankfurt when I managed them in Football Manager 2018. It was just a surreal moment seeing that name pop up again out of the blue.

As a viewer I am more excited and interested in the podcast style/chat videos that you release and can't wait to see more of it!

I used to thoroughly enjoy the FIFA content back some years ago, then it got to a point where I felt I outgrew it a bit. I stop watching the channel for a while after that but I've always respected what you do. I have definitely tuned in again this year, I love what you've built with Hashtag and the content you are making now appeals a lot more to me now as someone who's grown up a little. Looking forward to what's to come. Always a class act Spencer.
This is so relatable when it comes to the fifa gameplay, all the teams are the same otherwise you won't win and it just takes out the joy creating a team with players you like. Only difference is that I still put too many hours in the game. Great video Spen!

Fifa 17 was by far the most enjoyable game for me and I've seen some people agree as well. Since then I've just been chasing that feeling of enjoyment but it's nowhere near the same, in fact each year it gets worse. So yeah agree with Spenc in 99% of things he just said
Love to see candid and honest conversations like these. I stopped buying and playing back at 16 because I realised if I won, I didn’t really care, but if I lost I’d be fuming. UT points used to account for maybe 10% of my real life wage too, which would’ve been better spent on almost anything else.
Really enjoyed the Real Oviedo career mode you did back in the day, not sure if they're even still in the game but would be great to see another career mode series.
