especially when the robot had a reaction to missing the ball, and then him picking it up to serve. Comon sense folks, computer effects can fool a lot of people theses days.
@@adny02 Militaries have a lot more advanced robots than this, and they also have emotions integrated to them. They have Neuralink type of technology that can telepathically copy people to computers, and upload them to operate robotics. Its over 100 years ahead of its time. These robots are not coming to public any time soon.

The video is completely rigged: in the foreground, the HUMAN player has been erased using video post-processing software, and replaced by the image of a humanoid robot. To understand this, all you need to do is watch videos from BostonDynamics or FigureAI, two companies that are at the cutting edge of humanoid robot development, to see that we're still a long, long way from the agility needed to imitate a ping-pong player. Not to mention the fact that you'd need a computer program capable of anticipating the move and tactics of the opposing player and producing its own strategy. Impossible at present. But certainly not forever.
Most of the time there's not even a paddle in his hands. That's truely amazing performance XDDD
This is about AI art that enables replacing one thing (like faces) with something else. I have seen 3 of these, and I had already seen the real match that the robot was placed into. But even as an artistic achievement it is still quite impressive.

This is an astonishing piece of work. To replace a person in a normal video (ie NOT somebody wearing a suit with position markers on it) like this is incredible. It's also a bit scary. This year a robot is playing table tennis, next year any one of us is shooting somebody in the street! Try convincing the average half-wit jury that the video they just watched isn't real.
