    Awesome video, thanks for giving the vehicle specs in the beginning, and not covering up the wheeling sounds with music!

    Surprised we haven't run into you guys on the trail yet. Definitely would have noticed some big-ass Yotas like these! 🤘

      We’re out there, just probably not enough that’s why. 😂 this group we got guys from Fresno to Merced to Sacramento and back towards the Bay Area. My first time meeting some of these guys too and some of the rigs are freshly built like the SAS 3rd gen taco. Definitely can’t wait to get another run with these guys and others… Thanks for watching and commenting!

      Thanks for the feedback! That means a lot hearing it from my viewers. Yeah, as far as tire size goes… it just depend on what type of trail or terrain you’re planning to venture. We all started small and worked our way up eventually cause we wanna climb bigger obstacles. 😂 thanks for the love and support! 🤙

    Great footage! Can you comment on two things: Who was running crawler boxes/dual cases, and if so what brand? 2nd, how do the RCLT folks like that setup vs. a SAS. Any regrets for trail/road use? TIA - Brian

    • @wontontacoadventures
      @wontontacoadventures  Před 11 měsíci +1

      Thanks Brian, let’s see…. The rig that has stock cases was the Jeep, grayish 3rd gen taco, 3rd gen 4runner, and the silver 1st gen Tacoma. I believe the only one that was running the taco crawl box is the white 5th gen 4Runner, the white SAS 3rd gen taco, and the black 1st gen taco. The rest was on dual cases with the 2.28 and 4.7.
      As for the RCLT folks, it’s a good setup if you’re planning to use it for light to medium rock crawling purposes only. Will it keep up with SAS? No…. It has its limit and weak point that’s why Clinton with the white 5th gen 4runner is going to do a SAS soon.
      The RCLT is a good kit but honestly if you’re planning to dump that much money into your rig then I’ll suggest just doing a SAS. For road use obviously the IFS will perform way better then SAS but if rock crawling then SAS is your best bet. Hope this answers your question and thanks for watching!

      Yessir, great food for thought for me. We have a 5th gen on 33’s, fully armored with a tacobox (157:1) We think it’ll do some spicier trails pretty well (tacobox is a newer install) but always have my eye on rigs that run 35-37’s as they cruise through tougher terrain. Thx again!
