This is so much nicer than the awful sterile look people seem to like these days. The stark white and grey, with glass, crystal and mirrors is so cold and clinical. Give me rag rugs, throws and a real fire any day!

1:58:50 I suddenly thought I recognized some Dutch in there haha. It's a kid saying: 'Quickly, we have got only 10 seconds!' And then counting '10, 9, 8, 7 ...'. Very nice detail, I feel like they are playing hide and seek or some other game in the garden.
I love the sounds, people laughing, talking , not too loud, and the horses.. it's one of the best that I've seen !! Love the "not rainy" ones !!

No matter how beautiful the ambience, they always make me sad... imagine living in a world like that, rocking before the fire gently dosing off to the sound of blackbirds. So beautiful.
I've often thought that one of the reasons people's lives were so short back then is because they simply died of boredom. Of course they had books in those days, and reading is and always will be a passion of mine, but imagine not having recorded music, learning shows, art house films/documentaries, video games, etc.
That said, this _is_ very bucolic and relaxing.
@@djtrendsetta5766 It is in deed very relaxing, but I think, although we have a much tighter schedule and more available these days, they weren't as bored: they were friends with their neighbours, they'd go to church every Sunday, they had to work for their food (didn't have pre frozen meals) ect. Their life was short because they enjoyed it, and had to earn their comfort.
and no phones, computers, even CZcams to listen to this kind of sounds, no convenient cars, no easy food deliveries, and the list goes on:) So while it is good for nostalgia, I think each time has its own drawbacks. Enjoy your life now:)

Wow I have only just discovered this channel . This is the first video I have seen. What a lovely quaint old fashioned room this is . I love it, its simple humble warm and inviting in everyway . It just reminds me of a time when life was far less complicated , society was more genteel and neighbours not only talked to each other, they actual helped one and other too. You are exactly right in saying that (besides just creating a cozy-er atmosphere than just white noise whilst fulfilling the same purpose) these kinds of auditory content, sometimes helped by looped short imagery and descriptions such as yours, help to entertain, occupy and soothe an anxious and unfocused mind when it has nothing to concentrate on.

Oh, the idea of my videos being shared by a family is such an honor and a joy! Admittedly, it is much harder for me to create nighttime scenes because I use actual historic spaces (museums, preserved houses, etc.) as the foundation for my projects, and such spaces tend to be inaccessible at night, but I do have a couple videos planned for December that I hope will suit your request.
