Discussion Questions:
1. Read Matthew 7:1-5. What is the main point? How does it parallel Romans 2:17-24?
2. Read Matthew 7:6. Describe a time you tried to share the truth with someone who didn’t want to hear it. What did you learn from that experience? And from this Scripture?
3. Read Matthew 7:7-11. How is this evangelistic? How does it point to the goodness of God?
4. Read Matthew 7:12. This is commonly referred to as “the golden rule.” How does it fall short of a new covenant, grace-based motivation for treating others well?
5. Read Matthew 7:13-14. Describe the narrow gate. Describe the wide gate.
6. Reader Matthew 7:17-19. React to this statement: I’m a good tree that bears good fruit.
7. Read Matthew 7:21-23. Why does Jesus tell some to depart from Him? How do we know they were not ever believers?

As a new creation in Christ joined to the Lord one Spirit with the Lord close and clean, loving heart, kind and loving and patient by nature, loving from a new pure heart connected compatible bonded fused together with Jesus, vine and branches relationship we already enjoy always living in Christ participating in a beautiful union together, trusting his life expressing Jesus, expressing love, complete in Christ, his presence his strength his divine power and glory and goodness God has given us everything we need for life and Godliness including every Spiritual blessing, overflowing with thankfulness rooted grounded ( implanted within) built up in Christ motivated inspired by the enormous love of Jesus Christ nothing delights our father more than we relax in his outrageous love for us
