Can we appreciate how my country finally had a proper stage? It's an improvement don't you guys think? Also I'd say the songs used it well
👍👍👍👍👍
And songs using staging properly. That said Iolanda made an ESC ready performance for first time in FdC. Speechless!
Totally agree! It took me completely by surprise. Even the songs I didn’t like were elevated. I’m gobsmacked and speechless. Well done RTP and all the artists for their amazing work. It made me feel so proud. ❤
RTP did a great job, from the scenario to the level of the songs
Iolanda was just amazing
Iolanda and João Slayed...so MUCH! 🤯🤯
The staging and camerawork for FDC look impressive this year and the styling for the artists are on point.
Wow Portugal, congratulations with such an amazing quality of national selection! Very impressed 👍👍👍👍👍
IOLANDA
Portugal, Iolanda is the one! Absolutely love everything about Grito. Ready to Malmö.
Queen Iolanda and King João were the ones I was rooting for! I’m so happy they qualified! And the fact that they announced them last….
Seams like they saved thw best to the end - João Borsch, Iolanda and Bispo
Can't figure out how Bispo NQ to the final, he could even win the whole festival da cançao
@@vodka_seb as a Portuguese I'm surprised he NQ'd. He has a strong fan base and the lyrics of the song are great, cool staging too
@@rtg7h I was surprised but I'm on board because that song was boring---
Iolanda was amazing and Borsch very different
Iolandaaaa I wasnt expect that
The musics that pass to the final of Festival da Canção✨️:
- 01- Nena- "Teorias da Conspiração";
- 02- Perpétua- "Bem longe daqui';
- 06- Rita Rocha- "Pontos Finais";
- 07- Noble- "Memory";
- 08- João Borsch- "...Pelas costuras";
- 09- Iolanda- "Grito".
This song is a masterpiece. Voice, lyrics, music and the entire performance. 'Grito' is the mirror of your soul. The dancers represent their state of mind throughout the song. Top1
Iolanda stood out for me here. Loved the white outfits.
Team João❤🔥
The transition from João Borsch to Iolanda was dope! 👍👏👏👏
Joao Borsch slayed!
A MARIO KART WII PLAYER HERE?
@@Neo_DvDYh but I'm probably one of the only ones lurking around here 😂
Best festival de canção so far...they all performed well and giving us rich staging.
My top 5 thatvI think deserved to be at the grand final are:
1st. Iolanda
2nd. João Borsch
3rd. Rita Rocha
4th. Nena
5th. Bispo
Iolanda, maravilha! Performance impecável. O branco, boa aposta. Dança impactante. Espero que ganhe o festival. Merece.
I'm quite proud of our Festival da Canção this year. The songs aren't the best of what we've had lately, but the stage, the graphics, all of it... I think RTP finally learnt how to properly use all of it.
This semi-final was pretty good nonetheless, very glad for how good João Borsch and Iolanda were. The two contenders for the win, if you ask me. :)
Vamos Portugal!
You guys have always one of the best festivals in Europe :)
@@Idk-qs4nrAw thanks
Joao Borsch, Portugal. Joao Borsch.
João borsch is the best by far
i'm still not over how underrated 'Too much sauce' was
lel
Lolanda
João (my namesake btw) and Iolanda have the best songs
i hope iolanda and rita rocha succeed
awww mela didnt qualify :(. Im so happy for Iolanda Rita and Joao though.
Just an off-topic comment - my friend Manuel from Canal das Galáxias told me you shared a bit of love onto our live from this special Semi Final (after I sadly had to go) , and like people there said - I kind of freaked out as I've been a fan of the recaps and the tops you do for quite a long time ❤️
Dziekuje for your care! And this semi final was better than what I thought it was gonna be 🥰
MELA ROBBED ❤
My favourites: Nena, Perpétua, Mela, Rita Rocha, Joao Borsch and Iolanda. Overall a great semi final, lovely vocals and good stage performances!
Pontos Finais and Grito are definitely my favorites from this semi. A little bit gutted about some of the non qualifiers tho, especially Agua
Please told me that mela and iolanda qualify... 😢🇧🇷
Também torcendo por Iolanda.
@@celular-contaprincipaligor9368Iolanda classificou, mas a mela não, amava a mela 🥲...
Iolanda ❤
Iolanda

Who passed to the final?
Nena?! Well certainly not the famous one ;)
I'm Portuguese & sadly none are good.... oh well! Do better Portugal. I thought Acietar would have had a chance for sure!!!
Almost every single hater of FdC is Portuguese... WTF
Joao winner!
Iolanda winner!
MELA WAS SO ROBBED
She can t do high notes bro, shut up
meu deus, que fraquinho muito fraco mesmo, todas, este ano deve ser o pior ano do festival
Daqui a umas semanas vais estar caladinho.
I really wonder whether Portuguese people actually listen to this kind of music in everyday life - or just once a year in Eurovision season?
Well, Nena has a very famous song on the radio and so does Rita Rocha. Noble also had a hit, I think. Bispo also has a big fan base. The rest were rather unspoke of. But overall people usually listen to mainstream Uk, Us based songs. And the elderly listen to more pop/folk portuguese songs that aren't exactly good music but are rather fun.
To answer your question: Yes. We do! Even the ones who don’t live in the country, like myself. I hope this clarifies it.
Im a Portuguese and im sure what i WILL hear this in my everyday life ❤
yes, we do. Nena and Rita rocha have a lot of famous songs like those, always repeating on the radio. Bispo is very famous in Portugal too, the teens love him. Noble is very famous too, but this song is not very good as the others, u should check the others Noble songs like "honey" and "beautiful".
In terms of Portuguese music, it's more or less represented. I personally don't listen unless it's on the radio. A lot of people will listen to US/UK music to be honest.
The elder population will listen to more romantic stuff.
When it comes to dance pop, more uptempo songs in Portuguese language, that would easily be the Brazilian stuff.
Surprisingly bad live performances. My no. 1 favorite was Mela - Agua but performance disappointment.
I really do not like none of them. I hope we can see much better songs and performances at second semi final.
Surprisingly very good live performances. The only exception was Mela. Just because your favourite didn’t live up to your expectations don’t try to bring all the others down.
iolanda - Girto is one of the best songs in this nathional season....
Probably there is some reading problem. I have already said Mela’s performance wasn’t good. I am not mad she couldn’t qualify. Not fan of any song or artist like crazy. @@paulmartin1532that@@paulmartin1532You might love performances and someone don’t. @@paulmartin1532
Ugh... So many baaaad songs yet again. Hard to pick one that's worthy of winning here. I'll just go with Noble in this semi because it's the one that most resemble a normal song.
portugal selection is so weak this year😢
