    I totally agree with you, I also bought Q&A, it sucks. I thought I should get a new dental deck. Besides, I'm an orthodontist from China and now I'm a Ph.D. student in a north Texas dental school. It's nice to meet you here!

    It's not just you, I'm trying to study for this book (Firts Aid) and the same thing happens to me, it's like learning something from you in a very direct way. Like you, I prefer to read the paragraphs with the explanations, the information I learn makes more sense and I can keep it in my head for life, put it into practice.

      Hello, I am following your videos, I began to study for INBDE but the First Aid and Dentin books make it difficult for me to understand them because of the direct way in which the topics appear. They suggested the Kaplan to me, you think it is better to study the whole subject of Anatomy and others

      None of them are exact. All of them are old and dont correlate to actual exam. what they are helpful for is understanding the trends, what they test the most. So themes do repeat. so do all of them.

    • @KCDoesDentistry
      @KCDoesDentistry  Před 5 lety

      I would recommend you to buy First Aid book now. It's not good for actually preparing for the exam but its a very good guideline of what they test, so you can pay extra attention to them and take notes in your classes now. But as it comes to actually preparing to taking the test, don't take longer than two months to study for it.

      Cus I want a degree not just a general practitioner

    • @KCDoesDentistry
      @KCDoesDentistry  Před 5 lety +1

      ok, that's a complicated question because 1) there is no masters degree in dentistry here 2) you can go to residency in some states (not all), where you can get a specialty training which is also two years in college. 3) you will still be working as a general dentist, because they require that as well. 4) you still need NBDE for it. So basically the answer is yes, it is possible.

    Where did you get the PDF file of the first aid book?
    How did you get your transcripts recognized ?
    Do you have the PDF for dental deck ? Where did you buy that ?
    If one passes both test- does this mean automatically licensing? Or does a person have to attend a dental school in America ?

      I did have that pdf, I just looked around online, the scanned copies are floating around and of course you can buy them on their official website.
      No, both test only qualify you to application to dental schools. You have to complete at least 2 years of dental education in the US to qualify for a licensure exam.
