    I want to thank you more than words can express. I bought my SE1900 months ago and left it in the box because I was afraid to try to figure it out. After watching this video, along with some of your others, I unboxed it, threaded it, and successfully made my first project. Your videos are awesome - keep 'em coming!!!!

    This was a fantastic tutorial, thank you so much. I'm a Boricua too (NYRican) AND my name is Jeanette! I'm actually getting this very machine with my tax refund later on this month. I usually spend the refund on the kids or a bill, not this year, 😁 I have been wanting one for like EVER. You helped me to feel confident to start on it right away - the same day I get it for sure! Most of my work is sublimation or HTV but this is an area I really want to learn. You're a great teacher who covered so much. Great video, thank your video production team for me. 📽

      You might have the right thread. I see folks using different names for the thread. Google for an embroidery thread comparison chart. It will show you the different type of threads that match the same color.

    hey Jeanette! i know this video is old but i’m hoping you still regularly check your comments! I just got my SE1900 and i’ve been messing around on extra fabric i have, working with the built in designs! the only setting I’ve changed is my thread tension to 3.0 rather than 4.0, and I tightened my bobbin case as well! (per your other video) I am struggling with my designs coming out solid, the density is my problem and i did up the density on the machine to the max which is 120. if you have any tips or tricks for me please let me know!

Where does one buy the embroidery thread for this, any special kind? Amazon? Also...can you upload/download your own drawings/designs into the machine? I looked at your Etsy store and the "Woods Home" pic was so beautiful. I"ve seen machines with a usb port to put their own designs on to it. Thanks so much !

    Hey I love all of the information you give but I have a few questions about the type of threads. Do you have to use thread containers (I forgot what they are called sorry the holders for the thread that isn’t the bobbin) that are specific for the machine or does any type fit? Also is there a way to thread them because I have a big one that will not fit on the machine and I really want to use that thread. Also can you use the same thread for sewing as embroidery or or they’re different types reccomended? And finally what weight of thread is typically needed? Thank you so much ❤

    • @BoricuaSewingCrafts
      @BoricuaSewingCrafts  Před 9 měsíci

      Hi Laurel. For embroidery you will want to use a 75/11 needle. If you are using 60wt thread for small fonts, you will use a 65/9 needle.

    Ty for the tutorial! FYI re: embroidery foot. On mine, that I just bought I had to look at the manual there’s a part at the back right where you are supposed to press, to get it in right on the embroidery foot. I tried it your way and it wasn’t setting in right , when I looked at the manual page. B52. Once I did that it popped I guess it gets caught on that screw if you don’t do this. I hope this helps someone. Ty.

    • @BoricuaSewingCrafts
      @BoricuaSewingCrafts  Před 3 lety

      Hi Julianne. Most of the time I use the basic white thread on the botton. The only time it's important to have the same color thread is if you will be viewing the item from both sides. Sometimes you can cover the back of the embroidery with Tender touch or cover cloud.
