My sister was openly scene but I was a cheerleader. We both dragged my sweet Mom into the store. She didn’t quite get it but she was super supportive. I used to go into the store and pretend to *hate it* while picking up my Green Day shirts. I was afraid someone from the cheer team would see me from Aeropostale or something stupid. It was a fun time. You’ll never know which memories you’ll cherish. :)

my Hot Topic really only plays rock and stuff in that line. with the occasional rap song. one time Call Me Maybe came on and one guy working there begged the woman behind the counter to change it.
I very much prefer the OG Hot Topic because of its style of the store and just the atmosphere alone especially when they used to sell got stuff it was all alternative goth nowadays it's not so much goth it's mainly Funko pops anime and pop culture which I'm not saying it's bad but I just prefer the original Hot Topic where they used to sell so much goth stuff nowadays it just doesn't feel like hot topic well I love the store don't get me wrong and I do love the people that work there I just feel like they should bring back the original Hot Topic the way it used to be then I would feel like it would get a lot more people to come back in my opinion!
