i would run a pumper carb. not too difficult to setup and easy to tune. check out the 090 carb. it has a 20mm venturi. its what i run on my athena sport. all my engines have pumper carbs. there is also a 24mm venturi pumper carb for larger engines. I am not sold on the avenger. too much work to make it right. i prefer a 440 or 460. I am currently waiting for my 2 piece 54mm 460 and stroker 660. I will be at SoCal in September 2024
I run a 32t on mine pulls from a dead stop np damn near wheelies from stop still even with the 32t im only 160 pounds though weight makes a big difference dide ill say start from 44 and go down until u find your sweat spot.mines was 32t
