- bleach tie dye on black jeans DIY
Materials:
⇢ black jeans
⇢ bleach
⇢ rubber gloves
⇢ rubber bands
⇢ plastic sheet (mine is a plastic drop sheet for housepainting)
⇢ bucket
⇢ squeezy bottle (for bleach/water mix)
⇢ spray bottle (filled with water)
Notes
✦ I used about a 1:1 bleach water ratio, possibly more water than bleach.
✦ I rinsed about 4-5 times in the bucket before putting it through the washing machine and then air drying.
✦ I repeated the whole process 2x because I wanted a more even distribution. The second time I didn't use rubber bands but scrunched up jeans with my hands and bleached mostly the front.
Though good work but no explanations makes it difficult to know what and what you adding or using.
Excellent tutorial, Mena. I've been doing this type of bleach for few years and even I learned from this video. Roll one leg up, then the other, AND it's so important to kinda wet them b4 you apply bleach, and bleach should be thick not watery. I'm gonna do a pair of pants now. (Some cleaners come with bleach in a gooey form) This is a very cool upload, Mena. Stay cool n keep killin' it !!
I like this texture. I applied Bleach texture on my denim project work.
Awesome result!!!!! Gonna give this a go!!! Thanks for the vid!
Very nice. That is a fine looking speaker in your lounge room.
thank u and yes it's nice isn't it ;)
Podes explicar que liquidos usas en cada pado? Tiempo ?
Hi. How did you get the bleached bits to go that colour and not white? Thank you.
Would this work with prefaded jeans? I’m going to give it a try. Looks really good.
lo haré justo ahora, me encantó el resultado
do I have to treat this in anyway, I don't want the bleach to spread in washes
is the first spray bottle just water?
Love your page please make more videos like this!! 😌
Thank you!
Is it possible to make the bleached part whiter rather than orange?
no
beautifulll
Cute!
wow
How do you make the bleach look brown?
That’s just how bleach looks on originally black fabric
I love it :)
:-)
What did you spray in the beginning?
water!
Would this work with duck canvas? Like dickies or carhartt?
yes I think so, it's cotton just like these jeans so should produce a similar result. Good luck!
Hi
why you not saying what you’re doing
I am sorry, but you just ruin your pants. Try more pattern to make it beautifully.
I know it's abstract, but you can't take proud with it.
I Disagree. I think the abstract effect is one of best styles
You don't wear the jeans still wet, you wash and dry them before wearing. Your pants will be fine. 😅
