I lived in marathon for a few years and visit back once or twice a year sunsets food is hit or miss but great place to catch a buzz and watch the sunset. Breakfast? Wooden spoon if you can get a table. Burdines is a cool relaxed spot with consistency and good views.
Porky's has been our lunch stop for many years when going from Islamorada to Key West. Great food and fun location. Also - don't forget the 'collectors cups' from Sunset Grille.
Porky's has great Omelets; Sunset grill has a great Happy Hour from 3 to 6 PM. ! As a solo traveler I met great people sitting at the bar joking and sharing places to go and see in the Keys! Food is great and the Hog Fish sandwich is delicious and HUGE!!!

I really enjoyed Porky's, they're great. I'd recommend going to 7 Mile Grill for lunch or breakfast. Dinner there could be better.

Ate breakfast at Porkeys. Would not recommend. I am sure lunch and dinner is much better. Sunset Grille is alway awesome.
Breakfast at a BBQ place anywhere is kinda risky I think.
