Between the ever evolving issues of the real world and within the organization, it seems like the weight of 2020 itself is on her shoulders.

I love how they are slowly showing more and more of 1255 as time goes on and restoration work is getting closer and closer to completion. Can’t wait for the grand reveal. Whenever that will be.
The funny thing is over a hundred years ago (1918-1920) The Spanish flu was going on and passenger trains were like this

It’s overrated
So much of this video I related to so heavily. Not through volunteering at any museums, but instead through being part of the New England, Berkshire, and Western at the RPI Model Railroad club. We were working on moving the railroad from the basement of a dorm to a new location last year, and right as we started to gain traction through all the bureaucracy of the administration, everything shut down. While we’ve been on campus this year, we still haven’t even seen our railroad in 2 years. Seeing these kinds of stories told through shows like Full Steam Ahead though gives me reassurance that we aren’t alone, and also hope that things are getting better. Thanks for all the work you guys put into your shows! Love the videos! Stay safe and healthy!!

@@HighIron yup, we’re working through things as we go, and we’re actually (fingers crossed) getting ready to start work on participating in Walthers National Model Railroad Build-Off, but everything is up in the air right now, especially with case numbers on campus rising once again. I’m still optimistic though! At the very least, we should be able to start real work in getting the railroad set up again in the fall!
Here’s an idea for the next episode:
With cases rising, attendance to the GMRM declines significantly, and they become desperate for money. Eventually, a newcomer introduces the idea of running freight trains, using the Strasburg Rail Road and Mount Hood Railroad as examples of lines that primarily cater to tourists and run freight on the side.

Once again you've made another masterpiece and something that many of us train fans can enjoy and appreciate during this hard time. But we will all come together and pull though and one day reunite and enjoy the fun of steam once again.

Coming back to this episode, the scene where they're deep-cleaning the inside of the train really makes it look like it takes place in 2020. By January 2021, it was proven that the majority of COVID cases were caused by airborne transmission, meaning that cleaning surfaces was actually expensive and time-consuming.
Great job. It was really something to see after all that’s happened, and at 18:08 I see what your referencing with that documentary video that would be interesting to see for real one day.

Glad to see a new episode. Still though this pandemic sure has ruined alot of our plans and events we had for 2020 and for 2021 so far. The 1 thing that effected for me the most was my final year of high school and the start of college for me thx to the pandemic, not to mention train related plans I had. But fortunately I'll be able to do some I have for 2021 such as joining my Uncle when he heads to Durango & Silverton, Cumbres & Toltec, & the Grand Canyon Railway too maybe. Even during these hard times we can til manage things if we try.

Wow! Now this was a nice surprise! This video really just goes to show how Railroads across the country had to deal with this crisis, and above all else, the people who fight tooth and nail to keep our history alive, even in these trying times. Seeing Twila's struggle to keep the line from being shut down, and not to mention, the character development she saw in this story really helped to make this one a heavy-hitter! Ultimately, I want to tip my hat of to all the voice actors for an excellent performance, and to all the volunteers who continued to keep the trains running, even in these trying times.
This was amazing. i have some contacts at the d&sng and they portrayed similar ideas about reopening there train. Which personally makes me surprised at how accurate this was.

And speaking about film recommendations. Here's an interesting movie that's for adults and children alike. It was made in Denmark and it's called: "Olsen Banden på sporet" which translates to: "Olsen gang on the track". It's an comedy/crime movie made in 1975 directed by Erik Balling and starring Ove Sprogøe. The film was the seventh in the Olsen-banden-series.
An other recommendation is "Człowiek na torze" which translates to "Man on the track". This movie originates from my country. Man on the Tracks is a 1956 drama film by Andrzej Munk. I won't spoil the rest, you have to see it for yourself :)

Not gonna lie, if somewhere by me played a movie drive in style with a big ol steam engine behind me I'd go. Or any train really. What's really cool is that I worked on the railroad that the train part of planes trains and automobiles was filmed on, that would be awesome to play a movie off of the engine that was in it. I should talk to the owner about that actually XD

I was pleasantly surprised with this series. This flash cartoon is better written than some actual shows and shows intelligence in the writing. I also like that the female characters are well written and not just there as tokens.
