@@joesti7607 hey man just discovered your channel and recognized you live around Lebanon ohio, I drive Oregonia road and all those back roads all the time...in a car 😆
I’m on a FZ1 right in your back yard Joe. I have no business riding a wheelie but I can’t wait to run into you and get some pro pointers. See you on the 675 stretch 😉
Same here!! I have a fz1 also!!! Mine is a 04 with some good mods! I live in Ohio close to both of you!! Surprisingly I haven't seen you!! Will be on the lookout! Great videos!! Loving the content
@@joesti7607 i would like to see a video of you with a bike at balance point and not just chasing your wheelies. I dont think you should be teaching how to wheelie if you dont have that skill down. Please prove me wrong
I'm 62, had a couple mt09's now and just acquired a '18 mt10. Did a de cat link pipe and flash already and OMG is he right, these things are nutz! However, I more try to keep the front end somewhat on the ground although you can't really help it with these.🤔 They may not put out the most hp but they put out massive FUN hp.
this is kind of where im at. ive always been trash at wheelies and since ive gotten my r6 iv really wanted to get better at them. ive gotten comfortable with getting the front wheel up, but the r6 is weird to learn imo. first gear power ups are easy, but first gear clutch up are sketch af. damn sure cant power up in 2nd but 2nd gear clutch ups feel way better its just harder to get them up higher.
Clutch ups are where i started getting a lot better. I would do second gear clutch ups at the point you are at and work on getting the bike higher. Remember to rotate with the bike
@@joesti7607 that’s what I’ve been working on for the most part. They’re slowly getting there 🤣 my biggest problem has definitely been rotating with the bike, I’ve even noticed that I don’t do it all the time in my videos.
Hi pro,i’m from VietNam. i also have a Yamaha MT10 but i don’t control it to wheelie and then,i see your Channel. I already know how to wheelie, I hope you will answer me,thanks so much.
The #1 lacking skill in most all motorcyclists: Emergency braking. So you can go stupid fast? You shouldn't be allowed to go stupid fast until you can confidently brake stupid fast.
a couple track days solves that, wheelies actually really help with bike control as well. Any skill you work on with control on your bike will make you a better rider
I feel like encouraging people to do power wheels on bigger cc engines is not the best idea. Learn on a grom if you can or a fz07. Just one man’s opinion
Good stuff, nobody talks about how you set your body up before the wheelie, they just said, Throttle, clutch out, don’t crash lol
Same thing with corners, you don’t just throw the bike in without setting up your body first
body position is a big factor in this!

I wonder what “gixxer brah” would have to say about this tutorial 🤔😂
fr this is probably the most dangerous way to learn smh
@@onewheelseal it is, but some of us don’t wanna ruin our clutches lol so this is the only other way really
@@onewheelseal you came to the guy that rides one of the fastest street bikes around to learn about wheelies. I never said anything about safe.

Can confirm learning to wheelie on an fz09 is sketch lol. Currently learning and getting comfortable but that throttle is so twitchy
I’m in the same position 😂 I’ve got a 2015 fz09 but one thing, did you get your ecu flashed?
I have same problem with my 990 superduke so twitchy and that engine breaking is so powerfull
Feels like it's just gonna fly lol same here
What a hyperbike
I have a gsxr 750 would it be better to start in second gear or first
Probably 1st to learn power wheelies and second to learn clutch up’s
Great content as always Bra, love your work.
