DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ASSISTANT TEACHER * daycare edition*

Hey y'all!
In todays video Ill be showing you my day as a childcare assistant teacher for school aged kids, when they are not in school. Normally when they are not at school we have them ALL DAY so we like to plan activities to keep them occupied.
This is my first role as a daycare teacher, I gave God my career and this is where I landed.. so far lol. Anyway I hope you enjoyed!

had my first interview at a new daycare in my area for teacher assistant. they had me make a whole lesson plan before my second interview! i was so confused as this is an assistant position and i figured the main teacher does that

Thank you for posting u are such a good role model and this is really helpful for getting an idea of the responsibilities involved in working in this position with pre school age!❤ I want to get involved in bible study as well and am planning on becoming a preschool assistant. I have been assistant for older ages in the past and want to make sure I can do my best/ be good enough for the position. I have a passion for kids and for god/my faith so this is helpful and motivating thank you beautiful!❤

What did you have to do to become an assistant teacher

Usually just a high school diploma depending on location, a lot of them prefer employees having certifications but most do on the job training so it would depend on the school:)

Yes Grace is right! You need your high school diploma and experience working with kids even if you babysit for family that counts, each daycare is different but most of the time they provide you with training❤️
