- Today i had great fun covering up a 12''x12'' scrapbooking paper with antique book page and collage napkins. I then made them into tags.

I truly don’t understand why individuals in any government can’t get along. Their childish behavior makes it hard on everyone. The behavior in the US lately has made it hard to think about normal life...just can’t believe they actually did what they did. I will keep you in our prayers.

I know about bizarro dreams! One time I dreamed giant lobsters were chasing me, and just recently in a dream I was having trouble breathing and my sinuses were hurting so bad and it felt like I had rocks in there. I went in after it (I know, gross) and pulled out an entire seguaro cactus, the kind with the arms! What on God's green earth prompts dreams like that?? Could be anything these days... our government in the US isn't in great shape either, I understand that stress! I'm with you, let's ignore it all and craft! Sweet dreams!

Loved how the tags came out. With regards to getting the glue off a brush if hardened depending on the glue if you soak the brush in warm water for a morning you may be able to wash it off and then be able to use your brush again.

I love to listen to you talk and watch you craft while i do something else-like making ephemra or stamping or sit here with my scissors and cut out small pictures and figurines,flowers and stuff-it feels nice :) I love the idea with the big sheet and book pages(have no old ones but many regular book pages-only innorwegian though-need to swap for some english and other languages too),and napkins-have a lot of napkins. That guy you were talking about that is rocking your parlament -he has to have mush for brains-this is the time to let the "waters" be calm.. Big hug from Norway

We’ve had Brexit during the worst of this pandemic. We in the U.K. have the highest per capita death rate and it is, frankly, terrifying. Politicians use chaos to further their ends. You craft away Rachel, but we will definitely all be coming to visit you next year when you can teach us crafting in Italy ..... I can dream 🥰 I hide away as well crafting and reading, lots of reading, and just watching the sky and birds and look for signs of spring. Hugs

I like your technique of laying out your master board. An easy way to ease into it. Also, I didn’t know Cathie Holden lived in Petaluma. That’s only 1 1/2 hours away from me by freeway. I find it so odd that every country around the world is in chaos.its troubling for sure. 2121 needs some Valium that's what I say! Oh Good Lord, those napkins are gorgeous. Love this project already and you are just placing your first piece of napkin down. Sweet Lord, what a devistating dream. That's why I'm up now. Neededto watch a video to stop the thoght. I was in prison !!! I'm relating it to having an appointment with my cardiologist appointment. I'm truly over seeing these doctors. On another note, I just had the shelving put up in my studio. Still more to do before I get the boxes unpacked. I had a girl come in last Sunday who was an incredible scam! After she left I honestly had an attack of anxiety. I did further research and she was in fact a house cleaner. Ugh. I'm so far away since we moved from Ikea to get clear storage containers. I need boxes for my fussy cut florals, tags, birds stamps et. I buy a glue from scotch- Amazon. Even the thinest paper or napkins do not wrinkle. Several years ago, we had an ice storm. A rarity in Oklahoma, literally shut down the state down for about two weeks lol. However, I found that rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle will melt ice faster than anything, and keeps it from refreezing right away.

I can’t watch criminal minds either there was an show where the girl had to walk bare foot on broken glass… oh my I have had that bad dream many times don’t know why. I guess it really bothered me that she was in so much pain.Thank you for sharing your talents 💕🙏🏼🌷
Thank you! I have a cupboard FULL of paper pads with the thicker 12x12 (that were donated to me when I lost everything and started over in life) and really can't find a use for them! They don't make great jj pages as they split even if you score them. I have sed them as pockets and outer signature holders and even tags but THESE are great!!! Thank you!

I LOVE this! The dotted paper is wonderful. Your dream sounds awful. I'd have gotten up, too. I have crazy dreams. One of my favorites was about my husband. In the dream he took an avocado green kitchen stove (very popular color in the US in the 1970s) and mounted it upside down on the ceiling outside my daughter's bedroom door so the hood fan would give her a breeze in her bedroom. I was furious. The next morning I told my husband he was in trouble. He asked, "What did I do now?" He's always getting in trouble in my dreams! 🤣

I think creative minds tend to have more disturbing and vivid dreams, especially when we get stressed! I TOTALLY understand what you were saying about yours, and yes, I have to get up too, because otherwise you jump back in it! Not with the FUN dreams though....once you are awake those are GONE! I like to keep tracing paper around my painting mess, to blot up, spray on, etc. They end up random, colorful paper, and they would work for this too. Oh, and some I spray coffee on so they have 'stains.'

I was stationed in Italy in the late 80s and married a carbinieri and stayed over for a few more years. In the time I was there we were on gov't #54 since WWII. 54 governments in 45 years. It was extraordinary to me. Going to Naples was like coming home at a very profound sense, but life in the states was much much easier and makes you appreciate what you have. A govt incrollata in a crise? Figurati.

I should also mention that when you buy glue in packs, be sure to put the others in a plastic baggie after you open the package, helps to not dry out so quickly.
