It's beautiful and sad at the same time. Very nicely danced performance, all ladies look so adorable.
Yes. Captures the essence of the song perfectly .
You hit the mark with your comment! We were all young once and danced, live, laugh, cried and grew old. I enjoy those special moments in time!
@@AirborneAirAssault6565oh I don't know about you but I was dancing when this aired and I am only still 28! LMFAO plus 46 years we won't count....
You made me smile CC-Rider! God Bless you!@@CC-Rider
8th grade when this song came out
I bet this dance, along with the record (always so much better on TOTP than live singing) was what pushed this song to No 1.
You are kidding right? They did loads more better moves.
Great No.1 record from 1974.
I loved watching Pans People dance to anything, but this was really good!

Great song most clothes the girls wore love Louise
Remember watching this episode
Then on to the local to meet me mates great days,
Goodbye to you, my trusted friend
But we've known each other since we were nine or ten
Together, we've climbed hills and trees
Learned of love and ABC's
Skinned our hearts and skinned our knees
Goodbye, my friend, it's hard to die
When all the birds are singing in the sky
Now that spring is in the air
Pretty girls are everywhere
Think of me and I'll be there
We had joy, we had fun, we had seasons in the sun
But the hills that we climbed were just seasons out of time
Goodbye, papa, please pray for me
I was the black sheep of the family
You tried to teach me right from wrong
Too much wine and too much song
Wonder how I got along
Goodbye, papa, it's hard to die
When all the birds are singing in the sky
Now that the spring is in the air
Little children everywhere
When you see them, I'll be there
We had joy, we had fun, we had seasons in the sun
But the wine and the song like the seasons have all gone
We had joy, we had fun, we had seasons in the sun
But the wine and the song like the seasons have all gone
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Goodbye, Michelle, my little one
You gave me love and helped me find the sun
And every time that I was down
You would always come around
And get my feet back on the ground
Goodbye, Michelle, it's hard to die
When all the birds are singing in the sky
Now that the spring is in the air
With the flowers everywhere
I wish that we could both be there
We had joy, we had fun, we had seasons in the sun
But the stars we could reach were just Starfish on the Beach.
We had joy, we had fun, we had seasons in the sun
But the stars we could reach were just Starfish on the Beach
We had joy, we had fun, we had seasons in the sun
But the wine and the song like the seasons have all gone
We had joy, we had fun, we had seasons in the sun
But the wine and the song like the seasons have all gone
We had joy, we had fun, we had seasons in the sun
But the wine and the song like the seasons have all gone
We had joy, we had fun, we had seasons in the sun
But the wine...

Babs, Dee Dee, so pretty
In colour by 1974, so...?
Show.
This song should have been the soundtrack for a cold open of a Criminal Minds episode as the UnSub, face unseen, dismembers his(or HER?) victims with an array of tools.
Nirvana did a great cover of this song🤙🏼
