My first thought was that these were AI generated by something that was only fed pokemon. It's pretty awful. I don't care how fun a game is - when you're this blatantly ripping off something else, your game doesn't deserve to be played.

I really hope they didn’t use ai, I 100% agree that plagiarism to this sort of degree is really disappointing but it’s so fun. I feel insanely mixed on it, on one hand I don’t want to support this sort of thing, on the other the gameplay looks genuinely enjoyable

They didn't check 2021's trailer and the designs are already there, way before than any prompt AI giving meaningful results, just because the CEO talked about AI doesn't mean they used it, huge copium from nintoddlers
