Aww, I love him! I got my Chinese boy, Basil, over 2 years ago and he’s still going strong! He’s also still super shy but I think that’s just a Chinese hammy thing. He takes treats from me (he waits for one every evening 🥰) and lets me pet him a little bit but otherwise he’s quite content doing his own thing. He’s adorable though, they have such nice placid personalities (I’ve owned 3 over the years). I’m sure Waddles will be very happy in his new home!

Crazily enough, when my mum started pet boarding 3 years ago, the first hamster we looked after was a Chinese hamster 😅 I was super surprised because I haden’t seen them for sale or adoption anywhere - the owners said they had to look high and low to find one. Waddles is very cute & lucky he got such a caring owner!

I felt like i was in a horror movie, bc when you showed the wheel, i was like *GASP* and jerked backwards with my hands on my mouth-the wheel was so small! Omg yes finally!!!!!!!!! I'm so glad you found one!! I still have lucky :) he's about 3 years old now :)) I moved him to a ten gallon because he was not getting around aswell in his about 27-30 gallon bin- i had to get rid of the bin but it was between those gallons! :) they can be very fast! But- mine is not fast lol- love that set up woah- i feed him about once every 1-2 weeks- with about 3 teaspoons- so he gets quite a lot- with food- o and yes- i give him about 20 inches of aspen bedding and one side has about 4 inches of ktee - it's the white soft bedding I can't remember the name ah- I'm so dumb- i love waddles woah- great and informative video! Edit: my sister gives him treats a lot- so don't worry he gets lots of food!!
