What a good installment to the series. It still has the same energy the previous two games had, as well as its own charm. The game being two player friendly is a huge benefit for this game and I enjoyed the reappearence of Pulterpup, too. And what a wholesome ending too

fun fact: when playing this game with joy-cons, when a boo is detected, your joy-cons make a sound that is a morse code message which when translated says "BOO". how i think this happens is when supplied a stable voltage causes a buzzer circuit in the rumble speakers to vibrate a thing resting on the speaker's diaphragm which shakes the whole joy-con, but when supplied a changing voltage, the speakers act just like speakers and convert the voltage into sound

Here are some interesting facts inside the game for players:
Fun Fact 1: If you get detected by a ghost while free roaming, your entire radar disappears until you catch the ghosts that are chasing you. (Similar to Metal Gear Solid when detected by a guard) Your radar also disappears when you walk in the elevator, until you get out.
Fun Fact 2: The game will only play the Room Clear sound when you catch all the ghosts in the entire area, or when you stay inside a Ghost-Proof Room/Room that doesn’t spawn ghosts yet long enough, then go outside. (Also plays that sound when you capture a Gem Goob then a Normal Ghost)
Fun Fact 3: The ghosts will despawn if you don’t catch them in 2-3 Minutes while the ghosts haven’t found you yet.
Fun Fact 4: If you don’t capture the Golden Goobs in time, they will disappear under the floor and you will never get them back. It’s a One Time Chance to get lots of money.
Fun Fact 5: There are certain floors that ghosts will not appear no matter how many times you go from room to room while free roaming after clearing the bosses.

Another fun fact: you can shoot the plungers at the ghosts to stun them for a while

I just beat the game today. It was so much fun to play. Way better than dark moon. This game was the first game I bought for the switch and this game was the first game I’ve finished on the switch. Glad I picked it up. I highly recommend this game to people who don’t have it. It took me 11 days to finish it. (I got the switch for Christmas That’s why it took me 11 days). Btw does anyone wanna be my friend on the switch?

I don’t have anything against tails. But unlike tails, Luigi was at first scared and then he faced his fears to save his brother. If you say that luigi is a coward, y’all are wrong. Only a coward can run away leaving his brother to die. The problem with tails is that sega did not give him better character development. One time in sonic forces he shivered in fear and called sonic for help when facing off against chaos. I love tails to, at the bottom of my heart tails will always be a hero in the sonic series. Both luigi and tails are the best video game sidekicks ever.
I think Luigi has more non-gibberish voice lines in this single game, than in all previous ones combined

So... if there's a fourth Luigi's Mansion title, and I have my doubts that there will be...
...who thinks it should be set in a shopping mall? (Based on the food court in this game.)
If a Fourth is ever made, it should be on a cruise ship. I overheard some ideas like on a train or in a circus but the train seems a bit too linear and the circus would probably scare people to the point of wanting to return the game.
