this was very emotional if you consider the dynamic. Zoro the strongest crewmember is soundly defeated first, Nami said the same thing during the Arlong park arc "Luffy save me" while Sanji who always claims to only care about the female crewmembers tries to save brook and Usopp. brook the newest member risks his own life for a crew at this point barely knows, Usopp knows its hopeless but tries to fight an admiral instead of running showing off his true bravery. chopper who wants nothing but to be a doctor and save people becomes the monster he hates to protect the crew in desperation, Franky was desperate to get back to the ship that he cherishes and having Robin being the last crewmember left is a slap in the face for Luffy as he promised to protect her and is a call back to when Rob Lucci said that even if he's defeated Luffy isn't strong enough to protect her forever.
Keep in mind brook at this point in the story was with the straw hats for only 2 weeks and the fact that he still tried to protect his mates like that just makes me smile.
We're all feeling bad for the crew but can you imagine how Kuma felt doing that?He is a revolutionary...a kind hearted person it must've felt so horrible for him to send them one by one as they begged him to stop
Great scene. Kuma using the little humanity he had left to help Dragon's son and his crew while appearing to be the bad guy because he couldn't tell them what he was doing due to the admiral. All dressed up like a final battle and real defeat. He also sent each one to where they needed to be to get stronger. And then traded the last of his being to protect their ship. He's a real Straw Hat.

For some reason, Chopper got me the most. He was so desperated, that he even turn into that monster. This always give me tears.
Even though I knew they survived, this still makes me wanna cry out :(

After I found out the reason why Kurma did that. I felt so bad for Kurma. I hope Kurma returns to normal

With or without context, both are just as impactful. That's how powerful this scene was.
This scene always brings a tear to my eye purely for luffy screaming. Nami saying "help me" again since along park was really emotional as well

The way robin is calling for luffy desperately, just shows how hopeless they must have been 😟
