    About Speaker:
John-Paul Flintoff writes for major English-language newspapers and magazines about people who are well known and powerful -- and others who are little known and powerless.
His new book, How To Change The World, is a practical manual containing insights from people he's interviewed, the latest psychological research, and stories from around the world and throughout history. It also contains some examples of Flintoff's own attempts to make a difference -- to show that changing the world is not the business only of "great souls" like Gandhi, Mother Theresa and Nelson Mandela. It's something we can all do.The book is published in 13 languages, as part of a series from The School of Life, founded by Alain de Botton in London, where Flintoff is on the faculty. His previous book, Sew Your Own, described his own attempt to take back control, save money and help the environment by making his own clothes. It was described by kind reviewers as (variously) wonderful, amazing, funny, warm, inspiring, moving and utterly brilliant. He has advised major global corporations on creative ways to make a difference -- but he also works with members of the public in libraries, among faith groups, and at schools.
    About TEDx:
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

Hi there! I wanted to recommend you a youtube channel called The School of Life. The speaker in this video also works with them. In my humble opinion that's the best channel on youtube. They give you a lot of very valuable insights and advices on how to live better. If you wish begin with one of these videos: " How to find meaningful work" or "Memento Mori" , or " Why we're all so anxious".
      Best wishes!

This was great, but one thing I would've added is small steps and the little things matter to changing someone's personal life, not just the world. The way to beat depression and anxiety is through taking it one step at a time and doing what you need to do to be healthy and be where you want to be at every moment, because every moment is an opportunity for change.

Just as our Bible and Lord said, pay attention to the "little " things..even God's imputation says: With ME, you can; without YOU , I won't! (change things...) this world needs change; and it does begin with us..and it does begin in our homes and in our life circles, society and nations...the question is not only HOW but WILL- will we do our part? I pray so...

Great video. Here we can affirm that we do not need to be rich or so famous for changing the world. What I would think is that the people who are changing the world are those who really care about others (animals, environments, things, situation and so on). This is an entire ocean of human feelings that need to be applied in actions

You Do It Fast As Easy As Posible , And You Know You Cant Have The People By Your Site Every Time SO The Real Question Is ...""ARE WE READY FOR THE CHANGE WE WANT TO COME '''' It Will Be Hard I Know But Nothing Is Imposible Right ??...So Answer Me
"Are We Ready And Convinsed Ourselfs That We Realy Want To Change The World ?""

This all sounds nice but. For these people to turn around and completely change there way of life for the better is no walk at the park. It cant be that simple. There has to be something more to it right. Theres always more. Things dont happen just like that no matter how bad WE want them to.
