Triumph Tiger Sport 660 First Ride Review | A Capable Cub or An Imposter? | Ride, Handling, Features

  • The 2022 Triumph Tiger Sport 660 is among the big ticket performance motorcycle launches of 2022. And for good reasoning as the Tiger Sport makes the Tiger brand more accessible. While it isn’t a hardcored off-roader like the Triumph Tiger range of bikes, it wants to make performance bikes from the British brand more accessible and easy. It’s based on the highly popular Triumph Trident and shares the 660cc triple-cylinder engine with its sibling. Although it does have a lot in common with the Triumph Trident, the Tiger Sport does have some unique bits about it to suit its touring characteristics. In the Indian market, the latest Triumph motorcycle will compete with Kawasaki Versys 650 and the Suzuki V-Strom 650. The key question for us is what kind of a Tiger is it then, and is it a Tiger at all?

I highly disagree with what he has to say , all the tiger 660 owners would disagree , top heavy bulky Versys 650 with power like peanut s is not match for this beast , yes vstrom 650 is more purpose full but only when the purpose is offroading , every other match tiger 660 hits it over the boundary😊

Basically the ergonomics are well suited to the roads which are well paved and smooth and it's more of a mile muncher on tarmac roads , emitting certain amount of heat with sporty character and that suspension doesn't help much if roads are patchy and rough..Triumph offered a good motorcycle which won't be able to take bad roads. This made me to consider CB500x which will go easy in every aspect whether it's maintenance, reliability and affordability too

The tiger is lighter, more nimble, nicer sounding, but loses on comfort and features. Still it is a very good product for most sensible folks but doesn't justify the 2 lac rupees premium at all.

This bike has a comfortable seat and an upright seating position which makes it great for long stretches of riding. Also this has improved ground clearance over the Street triple. People have broken the oil sump on their Street Triples when going over badly built speedbreakers at high speeds
