    Correction: Game #58 "New Ghostbusters II" was in fact released in Europe in 1992. Thanks @Irfan Afendi for pointing this out!
    Also, Game #57 - "Nangoku Shirei! Spy vs. Spy" was also released in the US as "Spy Vs Spy". Thanks @carrete 75 for pointing that out!

    This Steamkey is a great game, thanks Gary! It's THE WAY, from developer Puzzling Dream. Reminds me a lot of Heart of Darkness and Another World. Bit of a time machine, this one!
    Really enjoying this JP-only Famicom/NES video, and looking forward to future installments. I bet this one was fun to research and produce! The Famicom had so many great action games, universally-playable ... one wonders why so few of them came west? Nintendo of America must have had some hesitation about "flooding the market" with games (which was a problem Atari had a few years earlier). But many of these games look a fine sight better than some of the low-tier NES games we had in the west.

    • @GaryRetroGamer
      @GaryRetroGamer Před 3 lety +1

      Indeed, some genuinely fabulous games that western audiences missed out on! (Also some lower quality ones that were probably better off staying unlocalized). I am a bit particularly salty about the fact that the sequel to Kung Fu Master (Spartan X-2) was never exported...
      I hope you enjoy The Way!
