If there ever is a content drought, I definitely vote for this series to come back for level 2 or a deeper look into level 1 but this is a nice point to end on for now.

@@georgerice6488 7.2k on a finale on a 150k channel is massive. Viewership generally falls off a cliff within 3 or 4 episodes. The first episode did 26k views, to retain 1/4 of the initial audience (1/20th of the entire channel audience) to the end is a resounding success.
Please fellas, drop a like, blow up the comments, show some love for this incredible series. It takes a special kind of gamer to be solving endgame challenge puzzles left and right, but still have left us with some hilariously dumb memories. With or without a continuation of the series, this video and the rest deserve some love.

So you reached the end... but thats only about two thirds of level 1! Good luck :D
For that final purple clue, it helps to remember they sure love reusing words in this game since this one keeps popping up for a long-ish word. The FACTS→CAR walks you through the steps of multiple clues in a single structure. And I'm guessing the !!! means it's a less common word which, naturally, you got straight away (I tried Nepobaby first).
Most importantly... don't sell yourself short. You're damn clever.
All puzzle block answers must be existing dictionary word. "!!!" means your first transformation doesn't make valid word, so you must use second transformation immediately. So "Open" reverses to "Nepo" (which is not a dictionary word) and add letters to "Nepotism". In similar block structure, but with no "!!!" you have "Grub" (insect) that reverses to "Burg" (town) and add letters to "Burger" (food).

The sideways FACTS -> CAR one is, I believe, using the chaining of all the colors in the longest chain we've yet seen (5 blocks!). It just decided to be merciful by allowing us to type and check intermediary steps.

If you want to explore level 1 more here are some hints:
1. Figure out the smile room dots teleports
2. Explore the roofs
3. Go behind all columns
For what it's worth, I'm sure I'm not alone in my extreme appreciation for this series, even if it isn't what your channel is or wants to be about. So thank you (from all of us) for taking us on such a wild journey through the game and your brain.

there's a few rooms on the roof of level one which might be worth doing; one or two easy-to-find ones and one near-impossible-to-find one. you might also want to find champion's rest; you'll know it when you see it, it says "Champion's Rest" there
most of the rest of level 1 is obnoxious scavenger hunts. One exception is the yellow teleport rooms puzzle; it's very difficult, and it's annoying to figure out and execute the solution even if you already know what you need to do. i was very happy when i finally figured that one out, but that was like 20% puzzle satisfaction and 80% "i'm free! i'm finally free!" sort of way
When I saw the M, the first thing that came to mind was "MacDonalds", which doesn't even fit!
But it *is* between a car and a burger, so...
congrats for beating level 1.

(Also the Facts -> Car puzzle was a giant chain, you basically had to apply mutiple rules in sequence and the back was a way to let you do it one step at a time, Facts -> Acts -> Axe -> Axle -> Axles -> Car)
BTW but beaing level 1 unlocks roof access. why dont you take a look around to admire the map from above.

This is the ultimate game show quiz game. So much fun to watch, and yell at the contestants, and be smug when the answer you guessed is finally revealed to be right.
I remember vividly reaching the top, and seeing that panel, only thing I had the heart to write: "not rly"
The game gets a lot more wild after Level 1, and it still had so many maybe tedious but certainly silly things

If that is the answer to purple then that is a really bad one. Like you are just replacing most of word at that point so it could have been pretty much anything. Like IDK how you would get that one without the first letter without just getting really lucky.

Congrats Olexa! I don't feel like most of the rest of level 1 is worth doing without help because it is just too hard to find all newly revealed puzzles by oneself.😅 But anyways, good work. Really enjoyed seeing you beat level 1.
Oh, also; If you're itching for an extra challenge from level 1, go back to yellow or jump off the roof to see the puzzles hidden across the roof. Do not forget to check behind the painting at the top this time though.
@@PlatinumTuna It's the one downside of this puzzle game, it has an amazing non-Euclidian exploration mechanic but finding new locations opening in old ones and coming back to ones you haven't completed yet is such a chore, it should have a kind of map showing connections between areas and indicate where you still have things to do, it would avoid running around like a headless chicken half the time ^^'
Just want to say that now that you have roof access… there’s a LOT of stuff on the roofs of level 1

I love this series and really hope you keep exploring a little. Also it will never not be funny to me when you more or less figured out what a color/position combination represents as a rule just to completely ignore it and try what makes sense to you

*edit* Oh yeah, one area you have not finished it the area with the big blue numbers. I can't remember how, but something unlocks and there is another section there. I think a painting may have been involved?

It's great to watch people work things out in puzzle games for the first time. I really had to check myself to not give any hints in spoilers.
You could certainly get some hints or guidance on what you missed and do an epilogue of level 1, if you don't want to commit to level 2! There's also a Library side level that would make a good standalone episode or two.
Level 2 has some nice rooms, but overall is a whole step up in difficulty for trying to do it alone.
We need level 2 😭

Yelling the answer out loud. Realizing the amount of people that would have been yelling at me. Great series. Loved having to watch after a hard day at work. Would love to see level II.
This was such a great playthrough, I hope you'll revisit it someday to finish level 1 and play level 2. I'm currently halfway through Brian's (Lorgon111) playthrough of both levels and it's great seeing the differences in approaches and what you each stumble on.
I really enjoyed this episode, it's so good to see you completing more of the puzzles and trying to answer them myself

Great series. I bought it after watching you play the first episode or two and just beat it myself. I did slightly more in Level 1 but I know I'm still pretty far from 100%ing it. I think I'm good where I am now though, as the master.

i know it's unrelated (well, sorta is :p), but seeing your channel be full of rougelikes and deckbuilders, i highly wanna recommend "paperback, the game", it's a really well designed deckbuilding word game (not a rougelike though, it's a port of the board game titled the same) and it's free on steam somehow?!
other than that, keep up the linging, i love seeing someone be way smarter than me playing longo :P
I own the physical version of paperback! Fun little game. They also made paperback adventures which is a full roguelike version. Very good, we checked it out on the channel

I’m not gonna watch the end of this one because I never made it to the challenge room. I think I need to find more nines....
I think there’s something about the prompts on sets-of-multiple-blocks only get additional requirements from the blocks they’re immediately touching?
Take the case of “songwriter -> singsong”:
From “songwriter” we know the shared blue is “add letters to the word song”, because that’s the rule that when combined with “add letters to writer” gives us “songwriter”.
“Singsong” doesn’t feel like THAT big of a leap from “remove letters from singed” combined with “add letters to song”.
But it only feels fair if you assume that each individual block has its own rule & combining rules doesn’t chain, which I don’t think the game has explicitly taught. Hard logic to pick out just in a room that’s also like “hey find me 6 anagrams of 8-10 letter words with no extra hints”.
Chaining of blocks above/below, beside, and behind have all been established at various times. This is like the final question on the exam: see if you can put it all together to figure out something complicated.
Level 2! Need to see you get cooked even harder.

I was also thinking of like "day, to dawn, to noon to night" (ignoring that it doesn't really make sense to go from day to dawn) since it seemed like the day was passing painting by painting
@@bbittercoffee Each step of the painting adds another color. The only passage of time is in regards to how finished the painting is.

As when you start getting closer things start to appear in the painting in a certain order...
