It's funny, it's harder than it looks to maintain proportions on a simple sphere like Kirby when working on something like this (you'd think it's the complete opposite, but it's very noticable when you do it wrong). It made me realize that it's the very reason Kirby was animated in 3D in "Right Back At Ya!"
This is pretty cool and all but i think a different song would have fit better for this, he looks badass riding his star giving me Kirby Air ride vibes. Was thinking of Dyna blade intro song in that game
I know what you mean! so this is technically a single shot from a bigger production I'm animating, so isn't the intended final background music. for the sake of the post however, I picked this song simply because Nightmare In Dreamland is where I first dove into the Kirby rabbit hole as a kid, and it's the first song that I think about in my memories of the game (because of that relaxed, happy tone it has ha). also it has a nice outer-spacey vibe which I felt fit with the passing stars lol
