That is why they’re called gem knights peridot
Another thing to note about Lady Diamond is that it seems to be "canonically" summoned via Brilliant Fusion, hence "Brilliant" in its name.
Gem Knights are one of my top 3 favourite archetypes alongside Lightsworn and Dark World. I have so much fun playing with them because they are easy to use, have fast mechanics and are very open to creativity changes. Plus any deck that combines well with Earth attribute is going to be a handy ally to Gem Knights.
I matched it with Adamancipator to search and place multiple monsters on the field for more materials.
Amazing video. They need to make a series based on the monsters alone.

People say that fusion deck aren't good, and that it's just a cheap tactic to make weak gems stronger, but I'm sure this deck would not go down at the hands of such people, because it's so much better.
But they can go ahead and beat it if they're able...
I think they're just mad cause they're single...
With Magnet Reverse and Foolish Burial with Belongings they have more of a fighting chance.

They just don't get enough love like other decks, and I feel like people should show respect for them. I like Masumi in Arc V, even though she got one win and got push to the side like Yaiba, she's still my favorite female character in Arc V. I wish that she and her deck got more credit than they were given. T_T

Wow... That's a very well thought out backstory and very inclusive to other archtypes... I wish others do this in the future.
I love this archetype. I got it alongside my ghostricks from a friend who was selling competitive prebuilt decks around them and i didn't regret buying them.
To this day im trying to improve them as it seems theyre going to get support

Makes me also wonder if Gem Knights are meant to be a Deck based off the Elemental HEROES and Crystal Beasts together what if the Crystal Beasts became the equivalent of Neo-Spacians to Gem Knights and Konami made Crystal Fusions using the Knights and Beasts as Fusion material
Interesting playstyle would be after fusing you can choose to have the Beasts go to the graveyard or to the Spell Trap Zone to be used as Fusion material later or power up the other Beasts

that was a good trivia episode i never knew that there was a story about the gem knights , gusto, gishki , leval, and so many more
The Duel Terminal was some kind of game that introduced a bunch of archetypes who all participated in some kind of great story; archetypes include Worms, Ally of Justice and Genex. But there's also another story which may or may not be an extension of that same story; which involves a whole lot of other newer archetypes. Archetypes involve Shaddolls, Evilswarm, Qliphorts, Gishki and/or Nekroz, Gusto, etc. Basically, a lot of archetypes seem to have a lot of monsters who borrow from other monsters, like how the Shaddoll fusions are corrupted versions of other monsters. It's really cool how much lore is incorporated in these monsters, it's just hard to figure out which monsters connect in what ways, and I'm still not sure if there's more than one story than just Duel Terminal, or if it has a really long story.
@@iBenjamin1000 I'm a bit late, but yes, the Duel terminal stories are all connected. They all happen in the same world but certain things causes that world to start over such as when Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier froze the surface of the world, then later appearing as an Evilswarm during the battle between the 4 clans and the Steelswarm.
Fun Fact: it's pronounced "Kamen Rider Ohs" or "ozu" in its original Japanese annunciation. Sorry that sounds douchey but I can't think of a different way to word that. I just love Kamen Rider.

there's so much research... i plan on making a yugioh movie based on the duel terminal story where the characters use the decks from the DT and it plays out like the actual story, but with a few added in stuff such as new decks making their way in to keep things interesting

I fell in love with this archetype when I pulled a shatter foil prismaura and obsidian from the duel terminal. My mom's lunch money was totally worth it lol

15:08 since Crystal Rose appeared, how about a trivia on Melodious archetype some time later? In the anime, the gem knight girl (i forgot her name) gave this card to Yuzu and she used it well with her deck.

6000 and a 15$ itunes gift gard, im going in for this box.
They are a fast and versatile deck. Easy to take opponent down a variety of ways. Fusions support each other in really good ways.
Short strategy. Get Lady Diamond out first turn while tributing lazuli or obsidian. You'll get back a level 4 or lower normal monster. Play that monster. Effect it into Topaz. Attack. Win.

the Cairngorgon guy is actually shaddollified, not Evilswarmed. we see his helmet on shaddoll core, then later his full form is returned in El shaddoll grysta, and finally, a crumbling shell in saqlifice

Homage to their “Friendship”. Are you sure that’s all it is? I don’t recall any other friendship being deemed so close and iconic it got immortalized in a separate deck all together.
Jem Knight saconium is one of my favorite because of how big he is just like the Earth monarch but at the same time His weapon is his 2 giant fist Even without special abilities it's very difficult to be 2900 attack point monster

In duel links, lady diamond and topaz almost always win you the match on a 2nd turn start.
It hurt my heart every time he said lolite instead of iolite.
Also forgetting that Daigusto Emeral and Lavalval Ignis are the Gem Knights working together. with the Gusto and Lavals

8:16 my head canon for obsidian is they were long ago a laval shaman who with old age there fire began fading but was healed by the obsidian soul and joined the gem knights acting as a medicine woman and mage on the team .and about her appearing male maybe it's the armor/she buff/she T H I C C (I'm so sorry)
