I love this video. It feeds my confirmation bias! 😂 I bought a Ferragamo bag recently and it was the right choice. I was becoming obsessed with buying a red Hermes Kelly, and dreading how long it would take to save for it, until I saw a red Gancini lock top handle Ferragamo vintage handbag from a Japanese luxury reseller!! I've completely lost all interest in Kelly and I'm so so happy with my pretty red 🍒 vintage beauty! 😍 Plus I saw Tanner Leatherstein recommended Ferragamo because of their quality and the company is still owned by the family, which means no major corporations are going to cut costs for the sake of raking in the money at the consumers expense (cough ...LVMH cough 😉 lol) Thanks for the video.
Thanks for watching! I’ve been loving my Soft Studio bag, I get total Birkin vibes from that bag, while the Gancini top handle is indeed all the Kelly vibes. I’ve been eyeing that bag too because it’s SO gorgeous, only the smooth leather has kept me from buying it. As beautiful as it is, I’m scared I’ll scratch it up in no time. 😅 If it comes out is something more durable, I’ll probably be all over it.

Hi 👋 Lo, I have a vintage ferragamo, unfortunately it has a bit of damage on it that I can’t wear it 😔 I agree with you that I prefer the non bow ones especially the ones that have the long ribbon across the entire bag. Very happy with my large soft studio! Though there's a bit of weight due to the size but i love it so much! Worth the price point! The hug and tote is on top of my wish list!
I love Ferragamo! I don’t have anything and I passed up on the top handle printed gancini bag in the outlets for $1750. I regret it sometimes and also feel it was a good move. The hug bag is absolutely beautiful, I at first didn’t understand it and now I can’t get enough. I think the bucking detail that they do is very underrated and clever. It’s a great alternative to zippers.

Great review of the brand! I have a vintage Wanda bag that I love but rarely use because it's quite elegant and my style is casual. Similarly, I would like to have a structured top handle bag with the Gancini clasp. Like you, I will avoid the bags with the ribbon bow. Although bows are very on-trend this spring, the fabric will show wear quickly. I see many on the preloved market where the leather looks great but the ribbon bow gives away the age.
