Dude I had a game, it was only QuickPlay, but my Orisa and brig were like bodyguards. A sombra kept annoying me and they literally turned around and chased her down. I need besties as loyal as this 😭

Great guide. I have tons of widow skins but never play her. Seeing this video on my recommend is a sign to try her for a bit.
I'm a new player so I wish I had a bunch of skins 😔 it gets boring wearing one skin for me, so I use the random option, but I only have two skins so it's still boring. Tho I love using her classic ow1 skin, it has a nice charm to it
@@TamWam_ I can relate, i started ow2 in s4. I spent most of my legacy coins on her 😅 my favorite skin is the black lily.
Blizzard can most definitely give us more legacy coins.

tip #2 - if you’re close to enemy, aim in where they’re going not at them unless you’re face to face kissing
#3 - before tire if you have time, trap and place mine inside trap so you don’t immediately die

My favorite character too! I play on PC and I’ve got so much fun playing her, but many many times I become anxious and annoyed by sombra, tracer and winton….

I tried your Widow settings…. I don’t know how you do it! I adjusted them to be more “bot” friendly and I’ve had a lot of success, even a few potg but I’m not ready to take her to comp yet😭 but thank you for the great content!🫶🏼

Talking about map positioning would be actually interesting since I tend to avoid playing widow in flank maps because I suck at flicking at sombras and tracers. Also, that predicted venom mine kill on the genji was so satisfying!
i mostly been on ai w widowmaker n scared to use her on qp but this might give me the confidence to do play her on qp and eventually ranked
I started with Widow in OW 1 but wasn't good at aiming so I switched to Junkrat and became a diamond player with him. Now since playing OW2 I've been practicing more hitscan and I wanted to get into widow again but I could never figure out a good setting to start with. This helped, I hope I can be decent at least.
UPDATE: So after about 10 matches I've realized that my main issue is positioning and confidence. I feel great with these settings as a starter and can hit good shots but I need to utilize my cooldowns more effectively and be confident I can land my shots more often. All in all, these settings are great starter settings!!😁

I really appreciate the guide, Luna! I do still have a question though, do you have any advices in being less anxious when playing Widowmaker? There are often times where I get nervous of potentially throwing games if I don’t hit my shots or get consistent picks. It also gets a bit more nerve-wrecking when the enemy team also has a Widowmaker , hehe. I’ll like to know how to remain calm when playing her.

I was like that in the beginning too. Always keep in mind you don’t own anyone anything - it’s a game. Play the character you want! The more you play ranked the less you will care about opinions 🫶
People will hate regardless. No matter who you play. If someone’s toxic to you they’ll also be toxic to other people

How do I get over the anxiety of playing as widowmaker in unranked as someone who is stuck in the workshops and PvsAI games?💔 I enjoy playing as her even tho I’m not that good of a player and I’m worried I’ll get bullied and embarrassed in the chat if I don’t contribute much to the team
Don't take people who take thier time to insult you in unranked seriously. And tbh I actually barley see any bullying. I've had terrible teammates but no one really cares. It's definitely a different story in ranked because people can get very angry there but in unranked barley anyones gives a crap. And the people who do are probably on a losing streak or something and want to release thier anger.

Tysm for the tips/ honestly all i get is dogsht from other videos about widow and training ... im like but thats boring.. and I absolutely agree with the setting i tried every setting possible none really worked with me my hand adjustments is different from other players
2:01 I think that in a game where the characters are of completely different heights and body positions that doesn't apply here. Unless you have Infrasight and can see ahead of time how tall the character is and place the crosshair accordingly.

This is a great video, thx for the tips, but I have one question what if your always hesitant on hitting the shot or being to slow to hit it? Cause I always have this problem with me since I am learning widow.

Hey, Iila, i wanted to ask what Relative Aim sensitivity settings youd recommend since i dont have Kontrolfreaks (i know how they work with making fast relative aim sens alot easier to use, so i wanted your opinion on what relative aim sens i should use instead, since i love everything else about your settings)
