I met Tyson Beckford in Washington DC at a gas station on New York Avenue right after his interview on the Oprah show.
I went to say hi to him but he was a little hesitant at first; then I could see him look at the crest logo on my shirt and his demeanor changed. I was wearing a Blue Polo Ralph Lauren button-down shirt limited edition.
It was such a coincidence cause, the night before I was just watching him on T.V during an Oprah interview in the wee hours of the morning. I was in and out of my sleep so it felt like a dream. I told him my story and I was like I wasn't sure if I had dreamed about him or I was delirious of some sort. He was laughing at my story and told me he was on the Oprah show.
I then asked, cause I vividly remembered if he was crying on the show and why? He admitted to crying during his testimony on the show about the loss of his mother.
