Why do you plant wild mustard?
We were spraying to kill wild mustard. We don’t plant it, trying to get rid of it so it won’t take over and seed out. Hope that helps

What do y’all use to clean out the sprayer after spraying 24D before spraying peanuts or anything else? Ammonia seems to be the best I’ve found

Why do you guys plow so much? There are a ton of other tillage options.
Peanuts are a root crop. If there's no moldboard plowing (bottom plow) you won't be able to then plow them up in the the fall because of compaction. There will also be a drop in yeild in addition to leaving peanuts on the ground.
Nematodes are a major problem in peanuts, especially if you're following corn or cotton.
And it seems like they're building a resistance to nematicides.
Not to mention the fact that nematicide is increased in price almost 30%.
And that was last I checked, it may be higher now.
