I hope i made Freddie proud go watch my remix to Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody link: czcams.com/video/MV1GlpwCG0I/video.html
I noticed you were grooving to this song, welcome, as Freddie Mercury would say, Joey darling, you are now a member of Queen. Queen had a knack of writing songs that people couldn't just sit still and listen to, they made music that would get the fans involved.
Listen to ELO man. If you like the funk on this one.... they're similar.
@@freedomfest2741 love this comment. So true.
The first song I've ever heard of Queen was called Flash from the movie Flash Gordon Queen was the best rock and roll band of all time and here is proof how many rock and roll bands can you name that had two hits played at every sporting event how many rock and roll bands can you name that made movie soundtracks to movies they made the first one was Flash Gordon the second one was the Highlander music by Queen and my all-time favorite Queen song it's called One Vision
@@daleflannery7667 I heard queen from my dad but now I'm a bigger fan then him even tho he is a fan since 1978 and I can sing the full songs and he cant LOLOL I heard queen since 2019
"How many hits did they have?!?!" All the hits. All of them.
Too many to name.
queen had 25 hits, 2 less than the Beatles
They've got more 'greatest hits' albums than most bands have albums.
Depends on what you consider to be a "hit"
😆😉👍🏻💜
We are seeing here a new Queen fan in the making...
yes i am fan now lol love there music
@@CrownFamilyHQ go for Somebody to Love @ rock montreal
No, this is not a new Queen fan... It is a man coming to grips that he has been a Queen fan for a good chunk of his life without ever knowing it. This is where we are at, at this point. The "WHAT? They made this song???" is something that keeps on repeating on these reactions... And it is actually amazing how good their tunes were back in the day and Freddie is just Freddie. Unique vocalist.
He calls him "Freddie". He now knows who "Freddie" is. Enlightenment is sweet!
welcome to the Royal Family
this guy is turning into a Queen fan....... cool to see him discovering great music.
I just discovered, “Queen” last week! I haven’t been able to stop listening to it yet. 🌹
@MrPippinsays Ikr?
Chanel Reid welcome to the party pal
More like its great for african americans stepping out of their comfort zone lol
Citrus Blast there are lots of African Americans that have liked queen and don’t deem it uncomfortable music. Your comment really shows up your intelligence.
Yes, Queen was responsible for all those songs you hear played constantly in every stadium and sports arena. Another One Bites The Dust, We Will Rock You and We Are The Champions.
John Deacon's bass line pulls you right in!
I honestly think that it's probably the most ripped off bass line in history
Queen is quite literally one (if not THE) most creative bands of the last 100 years.
Their song style covers such a wide range of sounds.
And they will be the most crearive for the rest of eternity
While I agree Queen is extremely talented, Pink Floyd was more creative with music style, take the difference between Piper and the Gates of Dawn and The Wall
beatles were creative but mostly because of the psychedelics haha
steff05 They were creative in everything, especially inventing many of what we take for granted today inside and outside of the music business. Plus, they didn’t start becoming psychedelic until Rubber Soul in 1965.
"Why does this instrumental sound familiar?" 😂😂😂
Ah yes my favourite Queen song. Story is Michael Jackson had to push Freddie to release this as a single in the U.S Michael loved this song. But Freddie wasnt sure.
Michael was right of course. It became a smash hit hitting number 1 on the charts.
PROJECT DX you're absolutely right, of course. Queen left the US with their first and only number one hit in America, and Michael Jackson left knowing exactly which way his next album at the time should go. It's a little ditty you might've heard of called Thriller.
wow I didn't know that
Song was written by John Deacon (Queen bassist)
I was little but I remember in our small town we only picked up about 3 stations and they all played it. This kid at my brothers school had his cousins from up north dance in the talent show and they pop/locked to "Another One Bites the Dust". We had only ever seen dancing like that in movies we'd rented.
Sorry project. Didn't see your post when I commented!
fun fact, michael jackson suggested to QUEEN to release it in the US and it became no. 1 in the chart, michael jackson is a QUEEN fan
So he's still alive?
... I still like them, despite that
he had to wait for his father in law's spaceship to make a return trip.
p0tchax sakj like the wrestler kurt angle say its true its damn true
Michael Jackson even asked Freddie to be on a song on Thriller. Unfortunately, Freddie declined.
Coincidentally and somewhat ironically, this song has the perfect rhythm for giving someone CPR. 100% serious, they taught us that in CPR training.
CaptainCallidus same for me. And the children’s song Nelly the elephant.
And, even easier to remember - "Stayin' Alive" by the Bee Gees!
Gonna be a little weird when I'm singing another one bites the dust... while trying to save his life
Nick, you been watching Grey's Anatomy? LOL!
You just can’t sing it out loud while doing it... for some reason, people don’t like that.
Your reaction was priceless. When the song became a hit here in America, people thought Queen was a black band. Just goes to show you the amazing voice Freddie had.
No they didn't but...cool.
@@bgfischer565 Check out this documentary about the band. At 51mins they talk about the album Jazz. They also talk about the impact Another Bites the Dust had and how people thought they were a black band.
www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=m.youtube.com/watch%3Fv%3Dy2NOyPI8_m8&ved=0ahUKEwi_tsrOxZLeAhXGi60KHQV-C3MQo7QBCCUwAA&usg=AOvVaw3US9cRx_Dku97VePiWsuOK
Jose is right. I was a kid when this came out and they played this on black urban radio because of the R&B bass. We didn't know any better, lol. In the end, doesn't matter the color of the artists, the music is priceless.
@@bgfischer565 Yes they did, you can ask anyone that was alive
@@amandadelatorre8371 Exactly! We thought Queen was black just like we thought Hall & Oates was black when we first heard them. People have to understand, this was the 80's. We didn't have google or CZcams. We didn't have 100 music channels playing videos all day. You first heard the song on the radio. You then got to see what the artist looked like, 1. If you went to the record store and bought the album and they were on the album cover, 2. They appeared on TV eventually. Mind you, there was only a handful of channels on TV back then. 3. You saw their picture in a magazine. Basically it could be weeks to months between you hearing the song on the radio and actually seeing what the artist looked like.
Watching you enjoy these songs is just like hearing them for the first time again! You’ll be at a million subs in no time!
Really enjoying your queen reactions!
Eleanor Walker 2004 same!! 👍🏻👍🏻
ME TOO LOVEEEEE WATCHING ANYONES REACTION TO QUEEN !
Me too i love it. Cant wait for his videos. Under pressure with david bowie is what i hopes he does soon. Thats thr shit
Its always a good time with Queen playing
When I was pregnant with my son I would put this on and he would start kicking like crazy. :) he's 9 now and still locks out to this song with me!
Raising you child right!
Queen was some bad boys I tell you they broke down color beauries all around the world simply amazing 😉
Very true. I had my first white boy crush on Freddie, lol. It was the 70s (or 80s?), and I didn't know what gay was.
SoulfulVeg yes I still be crushing on Freddie, don’t judge me 😆
november rain68 i agree 300%with you he was gorgeous people talk about his teeth but I don’t care ,,I just love him
I just watched a documentary on him, and he was born in Zanzibar to Indian parents. So he's my first Indian crush. He was sexy, even with his overbite.
SoulfulVeg I can’t wait for the movie to get here I’m sooo pumped
That’s their crossover song! Played on the R&B stations!
You should look up Cool Cat also for another crossover song
Back in the day, they would play this at our pep rallies before our games. Got us hyped. 8th and 9th grade..loved it. Still do.
I remember when they actually played this on Soul Train..
This was written by the Base Player John Decon. You can also credit Michael Jackson for pushing this to be disco, and a single.
Gareth Thomas micheal jackson my man 4eva
This is why it is so difficult to recommend one Queen song. There are just so many good songs and in my opinion you have not even heard the best of them. Another great reaction... Another request for Innuendo or March of the Black Queen.
Dark_Helmut
I think if you want to introduce someone to Queen, you start with Bohemian Rhapsody (which is basically the culmination of all of their songs, and most Non-Queen fans haven’t heard it). Then Another One Bites the Dust (which is great, and since it is more common, they might have heard it). THEN We Will Rock You (Which is a song 99% of people have heard, so the new fan can realize how many hits Queen has made). At this point, they’d probably go searching for more. But it is hard to recommend just one Queen song.
So true
I want it all

The show must go on
And so many more
I love that WHOLE Highlander soundtrack.

KILLER QUEEN ALREADY TOUCHED LIKE BUTTON
I’m loving ur queen reactions
thank you!
Thats Queen. Always everywhere, even today.
Fun fact - today (Sept 5, 2018) would have been Freddie's 72nd birthday.
:(......
Freddie Mercury the greatest frontman their has ever been
Nope. Mick Jagger.
@@rhymeswithteeth i'd say they are on the same level.
Laeadern, Nope, not when you compare their ENTIRE careers. Not even close. As well as quality of onstage performance, longevity counts, too.
Don't get me wrong, I don't dislike the music of Queen. In fact, I quite like much of their stuff. Freddie's onstage performance is another issue. I could never watch much of Freddie's fruity, onstage prancing. Just TOO gay for me.
@@rhymeswithteeth We can just agree to disagree then....lol
Laeadern, Nope. I won't agree to disagree. I, simply, disagree. If I was to "agree to disagree" that would be like saying I give your position equal validity to mine; and I don't.
You might like Freddie more than Mick, but there's no way you can say that what Freddie did with the 16 years he was performing live with Queen in anyway compares to what Mick has done in the 55 years he's been around. 16 years versus 55 years. You do the math. And, if 3 & 1/2 times as many years doesn't have you being more reasonable, then watch what Mick and the Stones were doing in 2003, WHEN MICK WAS 60 YEARS OLD, 12 years after Freddie was cold in the ground:
czcams.com/video/DRot9IjNSso/video.html
Or, what Mick and the Stones were doing in '78: czcams.com/video/bj8lRssjN48/video.html
Or, what Mick and the Stones were doing in 2013 when MICK WAS 70 YEARS OLD: czcams.com/video/MHlxGg0QIqE/video.html
Well, I'm sure Freddie gave a good performance when he and Queen played in Russia, and Cuba, and China. What? Freddie never performed in these places? Hmmm.
Mick Jagger and the Rolling Stones have been seen in person by more people than anyone else in the history of mankind!
Queen can't be tied down to a single style neighbour ;)
That's what I love about them (well, amongst other things): their music touches on numerous genres, but is all tied together under the "yep, this is a Queen song" umbrella.😂
I knew you’d recognize it the second you heard that hook. Loving the reactions man.
I love how you`re getting into all these classics! I discovered them with Freddie's passing. My parents didn`t have any Queen, or Pink Floyd, nor the Stones, or Meatloaf, or Rush, Led Zepplin and many other. I brought those into the house when I was 14 - played the music loud on my turn table and then cd player; I had very supportive parents when it came to my musical taste. :)
Your reactions at the songs' title lyrics are priceless!!! The loss of words... I tell you that this pleases Queen fans all over the world! A five star thumbs up for your reaction!
Lol...yeah, all the hits, crazy little thing called love, we are the champions, your my best friend, etc... Queen did a lot of the songs you know. 🤘
crazexskater yes crazy little thing called love. Plus the big collaboration, as the young ones say with David Bowie Under Pressure
Yup over ten number 1's in over 80 countries more than 40 hits charted in top ten and has sold more albums than the beattles oasis blur and U2. (If you take into account the greatest hits)
If you really want to see Freddie's range listen to Barcelona it will send chills down your spine.
*Shivers down your spine
Montserrat cabbale is also incredible
Yes Barcelona is awesome! And How can I go on is beautiful to! Singing opera was Freddie's dream come true! And singing with Montserrat Caballe' was also a dream come true, he adored her and she adored him they were very very good 💙💚💜👑👑🎎👸
thats song “sent shivers down my spine” whem i listend to it for the first time
Also RIP to Ms Caballe
This bass is everything in this song!! My God 😍😍😍🤗🤗🤗
I truly envy you experiencing this for the first time.
They didn't want to release this song, but Michael Jackson convinced them! ... and it became a Big Hit! So thank you Michael ;-)
Love these Queen reactions. Try Great King Rat, The Prophet Song or '39.
Great Song.
Queen and David Bowie - Under Pressure.
You can’t deny, this is funky as fook...
I loved your reaction when you realised you knew the song priceless.🤗
Please do a reaction to "I want to break free" official music video, you will enjoy it. Queen❤
Another awesome song! I think he's good and hooked, so he'll definitely be reacting to it..😀
Yeah make sure it's the video though I think you'll get a kick out of it!
I love that one! The video shows a more humorous side of the band.
It's amusing but... it needs a little context. The first two thirds of it.. well, how many Americans will know it's a parody of Coronation Street?
Defo watch the video, sheer bloody brilliance.
Released back in 1980, that was the second no.1 by Queen in the US. Written by the bass player John Deacon. First they didnt want to release it as a single but Michael Jackson pushed them to do it because he loved that song. It is the most selling single by Queen with approximately 10millions units sold worldwide.
You know your stuff
Though Bohemian Rhapsody came close (or passed it when you combine both times at #1) on its second trip to number 1, thanks to Freddies death and Waynes World.
Gareth Thomas Bohemian Rhapsody had two different singles. In 1975 with the B-Side „I‘m in love with my car“ and in 1991/92 as a double A-Side with „These are the days“. So Bo Rhap is probably the most sold song but not single.
chaos 6010 Yeah and another 18 number one hits in the UK and the rest of world
I remember dancing disco to this song! 🙅🏻♂️🙆🏼♀️🙆🏽♂️🙅🏽♀️💁🏾♂️💁🏿♀️💁🏿♀️💁🏼♀️🙅🏾♂️💃💃💃💃💃
It has been so much fun watching you discover truly exceptional music. Thank you for embracing the history and bringing it back. Love you.
Thanks, man. Watching you lets me relive the feelings I had the first time I heard these songs.
Did Queen ever make anything that didn't become a hit. So good choice again buddy. :-)
Umm not a lot of people liked the Hot Space album ... it did have underpressure on it however.
Hot Space is the second best funk/rock/disco fusion album after Thriller.
Hot Space also had Cool Cat... but not the david bowie version
Their first two albums were a bit of a chore to listen to except for a couple songs.
Hot Space actually has some good songs on it. Under Pressure, Calling All Girls, Cool Cat, Back Chat. It gets alot of flack because it was different from everything they did before and after.
Freddie and John liked it and Roger and Brian hated it. Yeah it had some cringeworthy stuff but it's better than Jazz.
EVEN MORE AND MORE AND MORE AND MORE QUEEN!!!!
New subscriber! Soo glad you have discovered Queen and all of their greatness! Forever my favorite band! 👑💛 There is just something about Freddie that I admire so much!
Love watching your reactions of surprise to Queen. As a life long fan it’s pleasing to see that people are still discovering them. Keep it up 👍🏼
I've heard of Queen 25 years ago but I listened to hip hop growing up. I never knew they sung this song until about a week ago when Queen just kept popping up on my recommended list. Must be bc Bohemian Rhapsody movie coming in November.
I actually thought for the last 20 years that "Another one bites the dust" was a late 70's early 80's hiphop song.
That is because it is a late 70s disco funk song that Deacon used for the bassline's main structure, the song was Good Times by Chic released in the summer of 1979. Queen gave no credit to Chic, and the press thought that Chic ripped Queen off, sadly it was the reverse. Good Times is heavily sampled in Hip Hop, one of the earliest Hip Hop hits Rappers Delight used the bassline and drums as a breakbeat.
Loved this reaction! please react to Radio Gaga at Live Aid next! That is one of my favorites by Queen!
yes... that live version is soooooooooo good!
Queen's Live Aid performance is considered the 20 minutes that changed music. I agree on that. For those who haven't watched it, do it. It's super awesome
The greatest live performance in the history of History. 30+ years later and it still will leave you breathless.
yesss! !!
I lovd your reactions. I love the way you get excited about it and feel that beat. Nice to have someone to go way back with.
this is BEE EUTIFUL, Joey - "being there" as you discover, rediscover and connect with YOUR past. Beautiful.
Thanks for sharing...

So are you officially a Queen fan by now?
Surprised?... listen to Crazy Little Thing Called Love.
Hey Joey....want something totally different? How about some Johnny Cash...Folsom prison blues....recorded live at folsom prison 1968...this is my father's music and it's country and it's Johnny Cash....I'm not a huge country fan but Johnny s music is a must try...hope you enjoy the song.
Oh when your done with folsom prison listen to a boy named sue also a Johnny Cash song....so good...so funny you'll love it....please listen to them...thx for the fun I really enjoy your reactions...and let's keep up the pink floyd...that's my music {:^)
Who wants to live forever by Queen
Joey react to two other Queen Hits "Crazy Little Thing Called Love and "You're My Best Friend"
thats probably my favourite Queen songs of all
Really digging your reactions to Queen. That is pure joy in your face as you listen to these classics that will never die.
AWESOME REACTION BRO!!!!
QUEEN are just something else genre wise bro!! Loved it!!
There's two songs I'm gonna recommend to you and I highly recommend that you listen to both of them because they are both brilliant songs. My first song is I Want To Break Free (please react to the music video) and the second is a song that not many people know of but it shows Queen's talent and that is March of the Black Queen from their second album
Ma Boi Stiles I'd also add "One Vision" to that list as well
In March of the Black Queen, the line about the little * sugar and a rub-a-dub of baby oil, is that OK to say? My guess would be yes as it isn't said in malice but who knows.
You know all these sound effects were Brian May on guitar. They used NO synthesizers back then. This one was written by bassist John Deacon. See how different their writing styles are?
Actually, "The Game" album was the first one that they did use synths on
Amazing!
Your reactions are literally the best, you’re the only reaction youtuber I enjoy watching, keep it up ❤️
I was waiting for you to say that! Rappers Delight! That bass i love it
Great reactions! I had similar ones when I first heard many of these songs in the mid 1980s as a kid. Its very hard not to. Queen are the best rock band ever for good reason across the generations. So many diverse great songs like this one mixing other genres into a rock format perfectly all sung by a masterfull frontman.
It sounds familiar because a lot of hip-hop artists have sampled this and other queen base lines...
Clint Larvenz No most Hip Hop artists sample Good Times by Chic which the Queen bassline is a variation of.
I am so happy for you. It is wonderful to see your joy and surprise
I don't know why I like watching reaction videos.
But thank you so much for not pausing every fifteen seconds.
It makes a difference!!
Killer Queen

Both amazing!! ❤👑
Show must go on !! 😀
They are dope man. I always play queen at party’s. I’m a Dj
Love these videos!!! This guys reaction to the best band in history is brilliant!!
You are BY FAR my favorite to watch reaction from with music...You actually LISTEN for one thing, you wear earphones ( which is almost essential with Queen), and you really seem to be appreciating the various artists...good stuff :)
Someone really liked Queen! x)
Yep! That was Queen. Now listen to "Death on Two Legs" to see how diverse they were. It is completely different and hard to believe it is the same band doing these two different sounding songs!
Darrell Waller yeeeeeees. good choice
Seeing your reactions is priceless! It’s pure truth.
Joey! You look like you are being transported to another reality listening to this. been fun watchin'!
Nothing like seeing them Live, it’s a Shame we’ll never be able to see one of the best Vocalist of All-Time!!!
You've gotta react to Elton John and Axl Rose tribute to Freddie Mercury after he dies singing Bohemian Rapsody. Crowd is huge.

Your Queen reactions are so lovely. You enjoy it!
This has Been bumpin' in the hood😂😂😂
Love it! 😊
One of the best tracks ever. Love watching your channel for some reason. Old man hear. Love these songs. You are doing your generation a favor. Even the Beasties are being getting forgotten. Deacon on that bass.
All respect to you Joey, for listening to the master composers and virtuoso instrumentalists. Rock on good sir and blessings.
Yes "Owner of a lonely heart" 1983.
Love that some

Loving watching your Queen journey, Subscribed
We will rock you and we are the champions are also songs you'll realize you've heard somewhere before
Hey Joey. *Here some bands to do:*
1) *Roxy Music* (Well known hits: Love Is the Drug / Avalon / More Than This)
2) *Hot Chocolate* (Hits: You Sexy Thing / Emma / Everyone's A Winner)
3) *Mother's Finest* - 1970's band - funk, heavy rock band
4) *Bus Boys* - black Rock 'n' Roll band - was in the film 48 Hrs. - band playing live at club where Eddie Murphy picked up a chick.
This is my favorite Queen song! I was 6 when this song came out and I've loved it ever since. It's so funky! Queen's versatility is amazing! Mind blowing!
These are some of the greatest videos on YT. Nothing like seeing people experiencing "new" music and getting into it.
React to “ the show must go on” it’s Freddie’s last song he recorded before he died.
The last recorded song Freddie did was mother love in 91,6 months before his death, it was released in 95, Brain May finished the song Freddie was to sick to come back to the studio, that last recorded song on video was these are the day's of our lives, Freddie was very ill and spent hours in make up preparing for the video, he would drink down a couple vodkas to get thru the pain
I remember hearing it just as it was released and thought, how haunting. And months later Freddie was dead
@@kentlyone Freddie
Sorry, my auto correct keeps changing it
It was the last video he did he also did a recording of Too much love will kill you before brian may performed it at the tribute. The video where he said goodbye was the slightly mad video where he turns to the camera and says "Those days are all gone now but one thing is still true when i look when i find I still love you I still love you" which was Freddie saying I know i am gone but I love the fans and the people that helped along the way.
lol you didn't know this was Queen, bro? yuuuup!
I like watching your reactions. You make me smile ☺ ty for that! Have a fantastic day!
They have a lot of great songs... cool that you are enjoying the same music I listened to and still love from when I was in my 20's.
Listen to Freddie Mercury’s Barcelona and Queen’s Princes of the Universe
Next song you should listen to by Queen is Radio Ga Ga
Then immediately watch a live version of Radio GaGa. Those crowds...
No, the Live Aid version first!!!! Lol! For love of God!
Live Aid version
You're right, Live Aid. All of Queen's Live Aid set..
Great reaction man, I always check in to see if there’s a new Queen video and I’m never disappointed. Do Crazy Little Thing Called Love next, that was a big hit in the US too.
I'm glad you enjoy all of these great Queen songs. They are certainly among the best rock bands of all time. Two of my personal favorites are "Tie Your Mother Down" and "I Want It All."
Another thing about Queen songs...you can hear the lyrics. How many rock bands have great songs but you sing along second guessing the lyrics? Amazing band
Chic's _Good Times_ had the same bass line!
These Queen reactions give me life! I grew up listening to Queen. I didn’t realize how much I loved them until I watched a fresh response to it. Keep the reactions coming, and not just to Queen!!
I grew up on this song❣ 1972, kid of the 80's I loved your reaction! Grace
IF YOU WATCHED WRESTLING IT WAS THE THEME FOR THE JUNKYARD DOG . WWF
How many hits did they make you asked?
Answer: All of them
Number One on the Rock, Disco, and R&B charts ALL AT ONCE. I believe it was the first song to do so.
Freddie, we love you and miss you.
Your reactions are brilliant... Love watching you become a fan of the legend that is queen 😄😄
