It may not be the best deck but I’m getting sold on Mayakashi now especially with the new support Yes it has its weaknesses, the extra deck doesn’t have some of the Zombie synchros & links because of archetype lock & the play style is very linear but I like it
I’m playing a 60 card abomination that consists of Mayakashi and tear ishizu and it’s gross when I can go full tear combo and set up the Mayakashi trap turn one
If only Mayakashi had a card that says, Send 5 Synchron Mayakashi from your extra deck to the GY and Special Summon a Link Mayakashi monster and draw one card. It would save everyone so much time.
It’s even better in a zombie zombie deck and you use bone tower. I have a 27 win streak diamond 1 deck using some of this support and small vended engine with the punks/eshizu. 60 cards
@@DuellinksAce nice can’t wait for that. Personally I’m a dedicated zombie player. Taken zombie decks each season to diamond 1 fairly easy. I believe they are underrated and most people build or understand the strengths very poorly.

Incredibly unfortunate when Konami decides that to make a deck playable they need to release a full-turn floodgate, but I haven't played Mayakashi since I got the deck-out title. Gonna play the new cards soon :)
what's worse is that there are decks that could use the trap and easily summon a mayakashi without troubles lmao. basically synchro decks have an easy way to out this.

the scenario if nibiru hit the field, mezuki must be in graveyard, its gonna re-summon mayakashi and make possible board that you have

It was never close to meta. The play you're seeing are all those good opening hand with almost no handtrap from the opponent.
