- Gondwana Singers is an SATB choir for singers aged 13-17 including boys with changed or changing voices. The choir is establishing a reputation as a fine secondary school aged ensemble that tackles a wide variety of challenging repertoire.
This concert was filmed in January 2014 at the Concourse Concert Hall in Sydney. This concert is the culmination of a two week National Choral School, which includes Gondwana's other choirs and offers an intensive two weeks of rehearsals, performances and workshops with the leading figures in Australian choral music.

Wow, apart from the Belgian female choir Amaranthe, this is the best performance of this piece I've heard so far (of a dozen). What a high level of singing do these youngsters achieve! 💙

How do you rehearse let alone rehearse a piece like that? My admiring congratulations!
Jakub Neske, the composer of the piece, who is Polish, has 11 different versions of this piece, each with the phonetic spelling in a the respective language. For English, that's "Meeroncharnya", for German it is "Mirontscharnia". It's still a lot of work, because the words are basically nonsense, and it's very fast for the most part.
