  • This webinar by Mark Schonbeck was recorded on May 22, 2019. It is the last webinar in a series of 9 webinars on soil health and organic farming organized by the Organic Farming Research Foundation and eOrganic with funding from the Clarence Heller Foundation. This webinar will examine the functions of the soil food web and key components thereof in promoting soil health and fertility and sustainable organic crop production. Research-based guidance on organic practices and NOP-approved inputs for improved soil food web function will be discussed. Find additional recordings in this playlist and also find slides and presentation notes at eorganic.org/node/25148 (scroll down on that page).

Seeing and hearing Dr. Ingham referenced/sourced is why ive watched in entirety. Thanks for giving credit where it's due...While I mostly get my soil knowledge watching her videos, your video was wonderfully presented and enjoyed every moment. Thanks for making it and sharing some knowledge of our Earth. Growing plants the way nature intended, after billions of years of evolution. No man made chemical designed over the last few decades is going to compete with nature 💚

A thought that through increased soil porosity and water flow management in soil, using a micronised soil flocculant, to bring increased retention of O.M and increased CEC will provide an environment suitable for natural microbial mass boost. :)

Soil sheltered life in density and diversity need to be tested to help to feed the organisms sheltered in the soil. There is need for quick testing methods to enable the farmers to test their soils for biological load and diversity.

Actually, cutting grass on a golf course green daily did not prohibit any root growth, because the microbiota was good.

I think he may not have thought deeply enough about Close crop grazing ,it works well in wet areas with slopes and shallow soil ,

It’s hard to trust an “expert” who believes evolution created life. Though this material is somewhat accurate, his ignorance/ego or whatever, of the origins of life points to foolish observations and can not be trusted. The information coded in dna and subatomic orbits are not random. Neither is organic gardening. Jesus is Lord 🙏🔑✌️

It’s hard to trust a “Doktor” that denies science, and believes in creationism. Your foolish interpretations are highly inaccurate, and intellectually dishonest. Jesus is a fictional character in a book written to glorify some horrible actions, and encourages horrible behavior by its followers. The crusades, the Spanish Inquisition, Christian missionaries destroying cultures everywhere they went are examples of this behavior. An entire order of nuns has been linked to human trafficking in Europe currently.Your imaginary king is worthy of nothing but scorn and derision. Worship of this fictional creation has caused more violence in this world than any other belief system.

@@juliankirby9880 The main issue with the christian/god/jesus scenario is that from the beginning, adam and eve would have been producing generations of incestuous inbreds, then when the questionable logistics of the noah's ark was complete, the new incestuous inbred population had replaced the previous generation, gosh, almost sounds like the great reset.

just like the climatologists who must keep changing their climate models every 10 years because their predictions are grossly inaccurate.
