Theres more to it than just having played airsoft. Your aim is so still it's obvious that you have a significant hardware advantage with your tracking setup. I use a quest 2 and when I aim half the time my front controller is occluded by the back one and the aim is never still because of it. It's really hard to actually hit people for me because my aim always fucks up when Im trying to fight, sometimes the gun will aim backwards and shit.

If you shoot real guns regularly, it makes VR shooters easy mode. No recoil, easy reticles, not inconsistency in ammo or wind. Usually very basic if any bullet drop...watching this video after spending the day zeroing all my guns and new optics. Most of them are zeroed at 15-20 yards, but my Tavor .308 is zeroed out to 200 with a 1-8x LPVO.

Just bought a quest 2 but I'm still working on the motion sickness before playing this game 😂
Just keep trucking, it takes time. I'm okay with left stick movement now, but the VR rollercoasters still make me sick as a dog. Also, turning in real life instead of using the right stick to turn helps with nausea, but it doesn't help your reaction time.

I love vr, but I've found more kids in games here than I ever did back in call of duty:modern warfare 2. At least back then they were preteens slurring at me, these kids are so young I actually feel bad that they're exposed to the unfiltered internet like that

I honestly think real firearms experience hinders your VR experience in some ways. You don't have crosshairs in your vision, vr guns have no recoil, balance or weight (your hands are floating in the air), in general, I feel a disconnect that takes a few minutes to acclimate when in VR games. But if it works for you, then all the power to you.
