And the best version by far! Recorded 1956. The Burnette brothers and Elvis all worked at Crown Electric Company in Memphis, Tennesee. They were ELECTRICIANS!!!! (Actually Elvis was a truck driver - hence the hair style he adopted that was popular with truck drivers of the era.
for miket1m, I was there when this was being recorded and I must agree with oldgitguitarist, you mustbe envious ! everyone had a fabulous time including the musicians in the band, they look serious because they are serious about their music, grw up !
@SeadartVSG The Stray Cats moved 1980 from the Long Island Town Of Massapeaqua to UK, hoping the ppl will appreciate thier music. In Japan rockabilly just has myth dimensions,- I guess it's not a question of geografic matters, only the desire to something familiar and reliable in these discontinuous and fast times..
