"A guy that rides 700 million miles with a bicycle likes bicycle riding." - that’s how Johan from the Odesa nursery in Graaff-Reinet sums up our race that is set in Graaff-Reinet, a small town in the middle of South Africa in the Camdeboo National Park and offers endless groads to ride. Jared tried to put it a bit more into context. We are excited to share his Ode to Desolation with you.
A week spent in the Karoo with wonderful people, based around a gravel bicycle race, The ROAD TO DESOLATION.
Despite the very untypical rainy conditions on race day we ended up having an incredible weekend and looking forward to ROAD TO DESOLATION 2024.
