Johnetta and her mom, Millie, embarked in Sydney for a 15-night cruise to Auckland, NZ. Enjoy this tour of their cabin and the ship. She did miss a few areas; Observation and Horizon Lounges, the gym and the sports deck. But it was her first time filming, so cut her some slack
As you will learn in a later video, and hinted at in this video, the cruise was interrupted by a hull fungus problem that prevented them from visiting most of the ports!
My eyes truly can't comprehend the beauty of this ship. I've been on all the major lines except MSC this is just unbelievable

Glad I wasn’t the only one waiting. I gotta get this vacation “fund” off the ground to do Regent. RCCL is affordable but since C19 i’d love to try smaller and more luxurious.
I hope someday to try regent. We leave for our 14 day cruise to Hawaii on carnival next weekend.

Very good video and narration. I’m curious about the flight from the US did you fly business class? How long did it take, was it comfortable?
Regent did provide business class air (Orlando - Sydney, Auckland to Orlando) Total time in the air was about 20 hours, but we were comfortable (lie flat seats) and well fed!
Congratulations on your successes in life. What did you all do for work if you don't mind me asking?
Nothing now. We are both 62 and retired. We were both in IT in our work lives.

Just found your you tube videos and have been watching them we are going on the Regent Seven Seas Mariner this Summer Athens to Rome do you know anything about this ship? I assume they’re all pretty similar and it seems the restaurants are the same but I saw you liked some boats more than others in terms of the food
Our first cruise with Regent was on the Mariner in 2008. We sailed from Vancouver - Alaska - Seattle. It was a great trip. Been a long time, so I can't really comment on what the food is like now! But the ship is similar to the Voyager, which is featured on our channel from September 2022.
The only downside to the older ships (Voyager and Mariner) is that they lack the Pacific Rim restaurant.

I think the Mariner was redone and the Pacific Rim is on it I know there are the 3 specialty restaurants. This will be our first time in Europe it’s our 25th anniversary
@@DJTravels and we cruised last year Alaska to Vancouver on celebrity and really liked it but wanted to do something higher end for our anniversary. We really like celebrity we are doing a Caribbean cruise again in December with them and did one last Jan
I just looked at the deck plans on the web, and I don't see Pacific Rim on the Mariner.
