Something came up to me, if jolyne is of joestar bloodline that means she would already develop her stand, by being stund by the arrow shard wouldnt make her get 2 stands ?
Only the stand arrow can give you a stand. Jotaro and other joestars got it from Dio's curse

Well yes but the only Joestars who got stands were Joestars that were around when Dio came back so Jolynr didnt get one until now

@@darkpotato8622 Polnareff, Avdol, and Kakyoin had their Stands independent of the arrow. People can develop their abilities naturally, through the bloodline, or through the arrow.

My bad, actually it would only work if she had the other type of arrow and was in a desperate situation. So no requiem stand for stone ocean. 😭
I really wish the creator ( I'm horrible with names) would go back to important characters and give then requiem stands. So we know how there stands would Evolve and what unique abilities they would have. Plus it would be official too.

@@Taha632RMF oh. Ok, my bad. I didn't know if it needed to be a full arrow to actually do that or not. So I figured if the first time she picked it up and it gave her a stand. Then maybe the second time she picked it up it would. Or maybe she would have to stab herself or her stand for that to happen. Still would be cool to see what abilities stone ocean requiem would have. But thank you for letting me know it doesn't work that way. I'm not the most knowledgeable about JoJo. I just know some stuff.
@@pufnbal1744 Theres types of arrows. That a normal arrow. A requiem arrow is a beetle on it.
@@pufnbal1744 The requiem stands came from beetle arrows which is only viable if your in times of desperate need while stand arrows are the ones who gives you stand depends on your nature and whether you are worthy. You can also get stabbed by the stand arrow twice(or thrice?) when your also in desperate times like Kira who acquired the Bites the Dust. Hope this will help you.

The Joestars being "worthy" of a Stand is pretty much a given considering their bloodline and the frequency of Stand awakenings

Well, Koichi wasn't supposed to get one. Had Josuke not been there, then he probably would have died.
Ignoring the fact that Koichi, like Holly, wasn't much of an assertive person before he was healed by Josuke, I think the key difference here is that Koichi got shot in the neck by an arrow.

i always wonder why jolyne isn't a natural born stand user, are they giving her a power up arrow or just trying to be sure she gets one, stands can be inherited, like how diavolo is to trish.
I also wonder why Holly isn't "cursed" by DIO anymore becuase he is dead but wouldn't the stand be still there? or there's a rule where the user has to fully manifest it their selves first before actually getting the stand
holly's stand never disappeared, it's just that since her spirit is so weak she can't awaken her stand without falling ill. same with baby josuke i guess

@@Taha632RMF hamon beat explained this the reason for this is that her stand makes her ill her stand returned to a dormant state because dio died

Since dio used the arrow while on Jonathan’s body it sent an signal to all joestars josuke went ill because he wasn’t worthy of a stand yet holly was worthy of a stand but her stand ability was killing her(sorry for bad english)
If I remember right, the reason why is simply because Jolyne hadn't been born at the time. Jotaro, Joseph and other members of the Joestar bloodline received their stands because of their spiritual connection to Jonathan's body which Dio had possession of when he used the Stand Arrow on himself.

So Jolyne got infected with the virus through the amulet thus giving her a stand? Or did she get her stand by DNA because she was conceived by a stand user so she always had stone ocean as a kid?
through the amulet. she didnt exist yet when dio awakened his stand (which caused every living joestar to get a stand too)
Jolyne just never received the trigger like the other Joestars, whose trigger was Dio awakening his own Stand. Stands are not hereditary, so the only way to get it was with the arrow/amulet.
