My brains: now you know how to cornrow. My hands: no you don’t
😂 one of my favorite comments. Keep trying🤗
That’s me😅
This is me! I watch one braiding video and suddenly I think I'm an expert.
Girl! BOTH my brain and hands are like huh?!?!?
HAHAHAHA I hear you with that
This is what I mean when I say I want to be an independent woman
Underrated comment
Facts 🙆🏾♀️💁🏾♀️🤣
Yesss lmao
It’s a BIG flex knowing how to cornrow/braid your own hair 😭🙁

Tips for my fellow beginner braiders: Get a thread holder and separate the braiding hair on the pegs beforehand. Make sure each adding hair is small and equal in size. In this video, she adds hair to each braid 7 times. So if you want your braids to be even like hers keep that number in mind.
Ooooh so the section you add aren’t supposed to get bigger?
@@alyshasmith858 Exactly, they stay the same size, and over time the braid will gradually get bigger because you keep adding hair.
Do I only need one package of hair?
@@Atzedernatzte it depends how big you make them and how many you do
@@ractastic._432 6 and average thickness lol
watched this vid minimum 6 times, finally attempted and it looked niceee! believe in yourselves kings and queens
Was looking for thiss comment💕
Damn ok! Thanks for posting this, been contemplating doing some, I can braid my really hair but weave 🥲 we’ll see how that’s goes today!
Just did this style to my hair today, except I did 6 instead of 8. A gift and a curse knowing how to braid your own hair. A gift cause you don't have to pay anybody else to do it, but a curse cause after a while, your arms get tired lol
Definitely!!
@@kaykaygreen7452 sis this video is EVERYTHING!! Thank you for all the great details especially how you start each braid, I've had trouble with it and you gave me a different perspective. Now I have to perfect how much hair to add each time. Thank you!!
MELANIN MONROE I LOOOOOVE ITTTT
Lol right I know how to braid my own hair but lol I do have to mentally prepare
First time I'm watching a hair video without skipping parts
It's so satisfying to watch
I can cornrow but feeding in is a whole mess
right
I know how to braid my hair I just struggle with parting my own hair. I like everything to be perfect.
We're together girl😫
Hey I know your comment is old but I had the same issue until I bought this 3 way mirror from Amazon, it literally lets you see all parts of your head and you can hang it on your door and everything
@@naiya2464 I’ve been seeing it for a while so I finally bought one today.
@@efinityatkins oh nice ! Hopefully you like it 🤗
I really appreciate you stating that you HAVE to braid in one spot first before you continue on and feed in hair. I didn’t know this for a very long time and couldn’t understand why my braids were tight and neat but looked like it was dragging in the front. No one explained this to me but through trial and error I figured it out. This is going to be super helpful to someone up and coming. Many helpful tips all throughout ❤️
Thank you, glad it helped🤗
Yessss they loook AMAZING and you’re so beautiful. I’m definitely going to do my own braids
