Some of the Fire monsters that were only on Amber island didn’t feel fully fleshed out to me so I am glad that the remaining Fire monsters were added to another island and wow I am impressed, the Fire monsters that were underwhelming on Amber island, sound way better on the Magical islands.
@@ImVeido Maybe you already knew about this, but the magical islands were originally going to be fire islands! Light Island was called Fire Fantasia and had Yelmut, Psychic Island was Fire Frontier and was going to have Edamimi before the voting, Faerie Island was going to be Fire Park and have Krillby, and Bone Island was Fire Bastion with Flum Ox! The songs were already composed too, they simply replaced the instruments and voices with the magical monsters! You can even tell which monsters became which! (Banjaw=Whaddle, Wimmzies=Glowl, Theremind=Fwog, etc.) Fire Fantasia wasn't fully done yet though, so when it became Light Island they had to use the only vocals that were made for it, which made it a little repetitive. (It's still great though)
i'm so damn glad candelavra somehow threw herself on one of my favorite islands and managed to bring it all home(and animated well even down to making use of what little fire effects they can do, how about that) wish it wasn't as apparent that they use a vst but it's a tiny nitpick just a shame that wubbox (and rare technically) + dipsters absolutely sour the energy this island has o well i can still listen to the only naturals version :D

Hell yeah!! It does make me a little sad because I was genuinely expecting they'll just do more fire islands in the future,but this is hella good!!

Candelavra really got a redemption arc, their sound here is much more fitting of what they do in DOF.
