I can’t wear double wear in the summer but I can mix it with the hydra rescue and it wears pretty good! I’m glad you are addressing this issue.
I mixed it with the Lancôme hydrating skin tint and that was great 😊

I Never thought I would love an Estée Lauder foundation the way I love Futurist Hydra Rescue! I Purchased it about a month ago and I am reaching for it more than any other foundation. It blends effortlessly and looks beautiful throughout the day. I don’t use a primer either. I have dry skin and an oily T zone. I set my T zone with a light dusting of powder, & use a setting spray & it’s perfect!

I recently SWEAT at this outdoor festival recently and was wearing the new Danessa Yummy Skin foundation and it did not budge at all! Everyone told me how glowy my skin looked as well. Love these recommendations!

Awe man.. I keep forgetting to write down the makeup I was wearing the day it looked really good during those sweaty days. Couple of times the sweat just rolled off, I think I was wearing urban decay primer and foundation
My favorite to wear in the summer is eborian cc cream and also laura geller baked powder foundation. They both look and wear gorgeous
I have dry, mature skin, and my go to summer foundation is actually the BB Cream from e.l.f. I set it with the Halo Glow Powder and don't have to worry about it.

Awesome video!! I am very much a sweaty girl 😂 and I sweat the majority from my head also. So I’ve always only used sweat and waterproof foundations or tints/creams. Dior backstage face body my holy grail year round and shiseido has really good ones also! But definitely want to try out some of the ones you talked about… guess I’ve always only ever thought about it having to be water and sweat proof and not really the moisturizing factor of it be able to work with the sweat! So thanks for that info.

The old MAC Pro Longwear was my tried and true last through a hurricane foundation, too bad it’s DC’d. I do use the Double Wear but it can get cakey. I’ve been using the beauty blender skin tint and it’s not bad. Thanks for the review. 💜

Such a great video! I live in Hawaii and I'm soo sweaty, so I've tried many foundations. Unfortunately the Estee lauder double wear looks horrible on me. I've tried it many different ways and it always breaks especially around the apples of cheeks. So far natasha denona foundation x and the NYX bare with me has worked the best! I sometimes mix it with the Becca glowy skin tint too. I notice that no matter how much i sweat, the foundation doesn't really break. I love how the YSL looks though. I might give it a shot 😊

It's hot and dry in Northern CA. I wear Bare Minerals, which seems to handle sweat decently. Prob not as good as the Makeup Forever one, but I don't usually need makeup to stay that long if I'm sweating bc I will be ready to wash it off ASAP. But great to know a sweat resistant powder option.

Hello from Humid and Hot Southeast Florida. Lol. I’m a dry skin girl, and I love the humidity, but have to forgo my super moisturizing foundations until,Nov.. I have the EL Hydra foundation, on my 2nd tube. Great for the summer. I love Tom Ford Shade and Illuminating foundation when it’s super humid out
Have to check out those tinted moisturizers. If you think Miami is hot now, just wait!!!! Lol. This hot weather ain’t nothing now! We moved down here from the northeast as well. Oh, it’s cool up,there in Maryland now, btw. Kept my old northeast cities on my phone, so I can smile all winter when I check the weather there. 🌴

Hi dear that phenomenon it's called hyperhidrosis, it's a real medical problem treated with botulinum on the hands on the forehead or the feet. It's terrible, i drip like a faucet from the forehead in summer, thank you so much for the tips!
I have dry skin and during the summer I only wear powder foundation. It is the only thing thing that will not look horrible when it is extremely hot and humid. My favorite is the Laura Geller Baked Illuminating foundation. I live in Miami in case anyone was wondering.

I think my skin type is combo and where I live in the summer is high humidity, my summer must haves, milk makeup hydro grip primer, Uoma beauty foundation and / or concealers, ABH pro pencil if I have a particularly dark red breakout to cover, kosas cloud set powder or CT airbrush powder for target powdering, CT bronze & glow bronzer, ABH highlighting duo pencil , rare beauty perfect strokes mascara, Persona cosmetics tinted lip balm, CT setting spray
So I am an oily girl and I live in Orlando. I don’t wear traditional foundation-I am blessed with pretty good skin. I do use powder foundation on occasion. I am also obsessed with the Dior Powder No Powder. I’ve also been using the DM universal balm. The only time I throw something on is when my nose gets red-fair skin is a struggle in FL even though I wear sunblock like it’s my job. The Tom Ford sounds like it might be perfect for that.
I have been foregoing foundation on a few days. I will rotate between Dior Face & Body, Armani Luminous Silk, Fenty Beauty Powder Foundation, & Kevyn Aucoin stripped nude skin tint.

I found out! Actually a friend did. It’s part of a Sigma collection.
I only own 1 foundation (urban decay stay naked) and 1 tinted moisturizer (smashbox halo glow) and my solution for my combo skin is just to use a gripping primer - the huda beauty water jelly works great for me. I'm scared to try milk hydrogrip because I'm acne prone... I can go without primer in the winter but as soon as it hits like 18 degrees on the regular, I need that extra staying power 😂
Well maybe I’m not the 100% popular vote but I feel my Lancôme teinte idole is the best all year round no matter the weather or my skin type of the season . Im 41 and have tried Almost all of those products minus the Tom ford and I still favor my foundation. I do love a couple tinted moisturizer products but they are Laura mercier and smashbox ❣️
You're right about powder foundation in the summertime. Being sweaty & oily powder was the way to go. I think I used different ones, probably Clinique & Shiseido. Question awhile back you talked about having problems with your scalp. What did you use to resolve that? Mine has been acting up & I never had issues before. Thank you Morgan!
When I had dandruff I used tea tree shampoo and conditioner. Cleared it right up

Because I live in south central Arizona where we can easily see 110°+ with dewpoints in the upper 50's and beyond and *random*, fierce monsoon thunderstorms, I obviously need bulletproof, sweatproof, waterproof foundation! My favorite? MAC Pro Longwear Nourishing WP Foundation. That stuff ain't goin anywhere!
But if you are oily/combo and sweaty and live in Florida too 😎🤪 it’s a crazy mess lol but the trick of the paper towel and dap is amazing.
I have all of these except the Chantecaille and I have to agree with you. They’re all phenomenal. But my favorite for summer is the Lancôme Skin Feels Good. It’s a light/light medium coverage, super dewy and wears beautifully. I live in the south so it’s super humid and I’m a nurse in a nursing home so it’s unbelievably hot in the building. My elderly residents for the most part are always cold so it’s kept very warm in there. I work 13-16 hour shifts wearing a mask a good bit of the time and that foundation shockingly holds up. Even when I’m literally pouring sweat. I have normal skin just for reference and I think it would for sure work for dry skin. Oily idk, maybe with an oil controlling primer. The downside is the shade range is pretty abysmal. Lancôme you can do better!!
Does the Lancôme transfer into the mask? Also in the nursing field, hot and sweaty from running to the bed alarms going off all day 😅
@@that_girl555 It does a little bit but not too bad. I’ve yet to find a foundation that doesn’t transfer at all. The double wear barely does but I find it to be too heavy to wear under a mask for that length of time.
It was discontinued 😭. I have oily skin (44) and it was the best
Are you priming under these foundations or do you skip the primer for the high heat days? When going for all day wear, do you layer sunscreen, primer, then the foundation?

I ware tinted moisturizer all year I hate full coverage anything I won't tuch foundation or anything matte, I like my skin to be able to breath and I use the least amount possible. I'm the girl that likes the rose inc tinted water serum lol everyones like it's nothing I'm like I love it 😂
IT celebration illumination powder foundation is the only powder foundation I ever found to work for dry skin, I have dry skin I use alittle bit with the Marc Jacobs face 1 brush and it's amazing.

Thank you for this video! I live in a place with hot and humid weather and so I'm always looking for recommendations, tips, and tricks to deal with that because even though I have dry skin sometimes the air is like water and sweat is going to happen (especially along my hairline and on my nose where my sunglasses sit). I also have a lot of hair and I'm telling you it is probably the cause for you so don't be embarrassed. I feel like my head/neck area can be like 10 degrees warmer than the rest of my body thanks to my hair-great in winter; not so fun in summer. I tend to go for tinted moisturizer/skin-tint-like formulas but maybe I'll give powder foundation a try. I fear it because of my skin type, but I always consider your recommendations to be worth exploring!
Some things that help me in the summer: The aforementioned skin tint, Danessa Myricks' Colour fix for when I want an eye look to actually last, Lancome's lash primer to keep my mascara from running (I don't like waterproof mascara and while I wouldn't trust the primer to get me through a swim, it did get my regular mascara to last on the hottest, most humid days.)
