  • The 29th in my Retro Goa Explorations series of videos in which I present some of my favourite 'Goa Trance' tracks from the '90s.
In this series, I go back to my first experiences in the Goa electronic dance music movement starting in late 1994, drawing upon my recollections of hearing specific music at certain events and using my classical music background explore the elements that I believe make these tracks so great.
The track in this episode is the first presentation in this series featuring a brilliant collaboration between two artists of the time: Sheyba's debut single track, Into The 4th Dimension. After providing some details about this amazing music while it plays and some closing comments, I present the full piece without any commentary.

My brief search for the author of the quote led me to reading this Wikipedia page:
    en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Overview_effect
ChatGPT suggests the quote came from either Alan Bean or Edgar D Mitchell.
“You develop an instant global consciousness, a people orientation, an intense dissatisfaction with the state of the world, and a compulsion to do something about it. From out there on the moon, international politics look so petty. You want to grab a politician by the scruff of the neck and drag him a quarter of a million miles out and say, ‘Look at that, you son of a bitch.”
    ― Edgar Mitchell

I have done a very thurral search using the exact quote and beyond and believe me it's nowhere to be found or I would have found it.
